Spirit DTW - Cancun??

Has anyone ever flown with Spirit DTW - Cancun?
I am looking at the web site and they show some great prices but the DTW - Cancun fares are only listed until the end of November?
If you have flown this route, would you mind sharing with me what a good price would be?
I am seeing prices until Aug/Sep at not much over $300 RT!!! Then the prices rise.
If anyone has flown this route, woudl you mind sharing your experience with me?

I would book it. Just remeber it has a stopover in Florida and you might have to change planes (but for that price whocares).

O my gosh, that rate is amazing.
I wish I could do it, but can't.

We won't be flying to Cancun until next winter and will book fares as soon as rates are released.
Does anyone know when Dec Spirit (DTW-Cancun) fares are usually released?
We want to book early since we also want to confirm our accommodation early also. We will be going for three weeks and are hoping to stay first week at an RCI gold crown property and then rent a villa for weeks two and three. To make sure all of this is available I want to book it early and all at the same time.

Has anyone ever flown with Spirit to Cancun (and booked way ahead). If so, what would you consider a decent rate?
