Came across these $1.00 fares with Spirit from ACY - RSW which are available on Tue, Wed & Sat into February. Must Book by 11:59PM on Sep 16th! Great deal to the Gulf Coast. Here is a sample below even if you want to escape for a few days.

Saturday - September 25, 2010 Time Flight
Depart: Atlantic City (ACY) 8:50 AM 943
Arrive: Fort Myers (RSW) 11:25 AM

If you are booking this as a cheap alternative to going to WDW, please check rental car prices. I have been to Ft. Myers for work and they don't have a great selection!

i think you have to be a $9 club member for those rates.

...and don't forget Spirit charges you for carry on bags and checked bags so that $40 can quickly be in the $79+ range. Unless ACY is your local airport, you can save yourself alot of trouble going out of PHL.

As soon as they can figure it out they will be charging for Oxygen. I really don't undestand thier appeal. TONS of fees, the worst service in the industry and rude staff..... Sure they have "loss leader" fares, but.....in the end lots of folks have wound up paying a lot more then they thought.
