spirit $39 each way to the mouse !

Just a heads up for anyine who hasnt booked airfare or who has a current ressie.In this am's paper spirit out of laguardia $39 each way!!!!!!!unheard of rate.I checked for my dates for october and there it was $39!!!! now too bad i booked with song out of lga(only$49 each way).....lol...maybe song will match it soon....SO get on there and check those rates!!!!!!!

Yep ! - we found $44.00 each way (105.00 total r/t) on Spirit from Atlantic City to Orlando (lately with Spirit, 88.- one way has been a decent rate!) - so we booked an end of summer trip !

Hey thanks for the tip about Spirit. I went online and I see that they only seem to be offering that $39 price for trips during the week, which we will gladly do although we usually go down on a Saturday morning. Does anyone have trouble sitting comfortably in Spirit's seats? My husband is 6' 2" and the last time we flew with them, he was terribly uncomfortable in his seat because his knees were right up against the seat in front of him. Luckily, there was an open seat in the emergency row that he was able to get but that's not always guaranteed. He was definitely happier with that seat because there was more leg room to stretch out. I'm about 5'7" and I was pretty uncomfortable myself so I tried sitting side-ways with my feet in the aisle as much as I could. I was so glad when that plane landed. Although they're offering a terrific price, I'm kind of on the fence about booking with Spirit again.

Yes, my husband does. He is about 6 foot and always complains about legroom.
Also, my brother in law will only book the Spirit "plus" seats because they offer so much leg room.
My husband deals with it because its only a 2 hour flight but he moves around in his seat the whole time!

I'm 6', and I am rather uncomfortable in Spirit's seats. I normally don't have issues with legroom / side-to-side room on planes (except for Regional Jets, but those aren't a real plane anyways), but the 2 times I've flown spirit, I've been uncomfortable both times.
