Spinoff...What do you call a pacifier?

My nephew (now 19) called his Kiki.. don't know why.. maybe he couldn't pronounce Binky.. but now we all call them Kiki's.. lol

We called it a paci or plug. First DD only took one for a couple months, and youngest wouldn't take one at all (and YES, we tried!)

I babysat for a girl whose parents called it a Nuk-nuk, which kind of morphed into Nu-Nu when she started talking. And the neighbor girl called hers a Bobbie. No idea where that one came from!

DD called hers "Poppie". She had it at naptime and bedtime only and it went away when she turned 2.

My best friend's DD called hers "fry-fry" and had to have 3 at all times- one in her mouth, and one in each hand.

Soother when we were in mixed company; suckie when it was just DH and I trying to find the stupid thing.

Only my son took one. My daughter who is 6 years older than him never did.
So, he called it a noonie. And slept with one in his mouth and one in each hand.

We call my daughters that too! Have heard of maybe one other call it that, a doctor in the ER one time slipped and said that. Caught herself and said its what her son's was called, she had no idea it's what we called it either. If we were to use something else to outside people it would be soother.

Nuk

Binky was what blankets were called.

My cousin was of the one in mouth, one in each hand type
