Let me start by saying that I have very fair skin and that I burn quite easily. If I spend many hours in the sun, and use protection I end up getting a tiny bit of tan on my arms and face but none whatsoever on my legs. It´s really annoying, especially when wearing shorter summer dresses or going to the beach.
I´m leaving for our vacation in two weeks, and since it just stopped snowing here in Iceland (and before you ask: NO, that is not normal) my skin is almost transparent.
What are my best options to get just a tad bit of a "summer glow" before I leave? Tanning beds are not really an option since I burn so easily and therefore don´t want to take the health risks that would come with them. A spray tan isn´t really a great option either, since they were off pretty fast and I´ll be away for almost 4 weeks.
I just purchased the Dove Summer Glow body lotion (w. self tanner), but after using it just once I already have streaks on my legs. I will try it again though, since I like the color (not orange, and just very light and natural for my fair skin).
Any other ideas?

Did you find a bathingsuit that you like? I'm fair also, and when we go to Florida, I arrive pale and use 50 SPF and gradually build up a tan over the week. I always wear a hat with a brim to keep the sun off my face. The self-tanner products would probably give you some nice color, I just don't like the way they make my skin smell.
