Will you use a cart left out in the parking lot as opposed to getting one from the rows of them at the door?

If I park near the cart corral, I'll grab one from it. Or if there is a cart between my spot and the door that is in a parking space or 1/2 on, 1/2 off the median island between parking spots, I'll grab it so an employee doesn't have to go get it (or another shopper doesn't get hit/inconvenienced by it). People who leave carts just wherever they parked are a real pet peeve of mine. How hard is it to walk the darn thing to a corral or the store entrance?!? :confused3

Sometimes, but not always.

I don't pick up a cart and bring it into the store if the carts in the parking lot are wet.

If there is one left that someone didn't put away I generally will take that cart into the store and use it vs having it smash into my car, otherwise I don't really take one out of the corral and use one. I USED to all the time when the kids were little, take the kids out of the car, put them into a cart, go into the store. I tried to park near a cart corral when the kids were little for that reason.

This.

If I see a cart between my car and the entrance to the store I'll grab that one. What's the difference between taking a cart sitting there out in the open and one in the corral?

If I do..it may take away from a persons job.

unless its Aldi then round them up at 25 cents each:woohoo:

Yes. In fact, I just did that this afternoon (yes, in the rain :)). Some blankety-blank idiot apparently couldn't be troubled to walk a few feet in the drizzle - and instead left the cart blocking the driver's door of the car a space over from mine :rolleyes2

And I make a point of taking a carriage, or more, from the lot when people start using the handicapped spaces as do-it-yourself cart corrals :rotfl2:

I will, but I typically will not at night if I'm shopping alone. There is actually one local market near me who has kids (usually the bagger) who will escort you and the cart out to your car and they take the cart back to the front of the store. I try to go to that one in the nighttime.

If the cart is on my way from the car to the store I will, unless it's wet.

I will get one from the cart corral or a loose one provided they aren't wet and don't have trash in them.

Sure - or sometimes I'll save someone the trouble of wheeling theirs back..

No I don't use a cart from the parking lot because my husband always drops me at the entrance and then parks if a handicapped spot is not available. If I text him that no are available inside he brings one in from the parking lot.

my market i usually go in and get one but the bagger takes my cart out, puts the bags in the car, and then takes the cart back. I love that store:lovestruc. It helps when i have my 2 year old with me i can just put her and myself in the car and when they are done loading we leave.
