Spin-off: After Kids/ Before Grandkids

We will still get a one bedroom so we have a kitchen and the living room space. Since we have 500 points we are bringing down extra family. Last year we had 3 families, this year we're treating a family with 5 yo triplets-my DH loves kids! But we are getting them their own 2bd and ourselves a 1bd.

Since I work in a school, I can't go whenever I want yet, but when the day comes we want to spend a few weeks during the cold NH winters down there in the sun.

As everyone above has stated.....there are many, many things for empty nesters to do at WDW. We also honeymooned there way back in 1980 and while we didn't go so much before we bought DVC in 2001.....we did manage three or four trips with our kids when they were younger. When we bought in 2001 our kids were 20, 18 and 12.....the youngest is now 22, graduating from Penn State this coming December and just completed a semester working at WDW in the College Program.....so I guess we've passed on our love of Disney!! DH and I just love to visit alone these days!! And, our grandson also gets very offended when Grandma and PaPa aren't taking him this trip........he's come to expect his once a year WDW vacation.....which he does get.....but, DH and I usually manage to get away at least one other trip alone....sometimes we can squeeze in two.... and like Bobbiwoz......I also work at a University (not adjunct faculty, but, student health center) and have the month of January off.....this year I only spent one week in January at Disney, however, I'm thinking I may do a few more days in 2012........
