Spilt Stays with Dining Plan

Okay, so if we stay at one resort (POFQ) for 4 nights, and get the basic dining plan, and 3 nights (poly) on the deluxe. What happens the day we check out and check back in. I know that your plan is good until midnight the day you check out, so if we have meals left can we use those along with the new plan. Does that make sense?

Yes, you will have a key to the world card from the first resort with your old credits left, then another key to the world card for you new resort with your new credits. Use up the old card on your checkout day...you have until midnight to use up the old credits.

But you can't 'combine' credits. Example: if you each have one TS credit left from the first part of your stay, and choose a Signature meal on 'change' day, you can't use the one credit from POFQ and one credit from the new reservation at Poly - so plan accordingly.

Yes any unused credits from hotel #1 will be good till checkout.

You might want to reverse it though....DxDDP 1st....to give you that extra day to use any unwanted credits.

Although Disney Official Policy is to require those with split stays to purchase mugs again for the 2nd part of the split stay, I've read good news...
Mugs are now generic, not resort specific.......

It seems the overwhelming majority use the generic refillable mugs at other Disney Resorts, not just the one they are staying at....

What does that then say to those who have split stays....Guess that means that is is like throwing money down the toilet to buy mugs twice!

Sorry Disney, although the official policy on split stays(if you ask the question to several different CM's) states that the refillable mugs should just be used at your "home resort", now that they are generic, realistically how many guests are following this policy?
