Spilt Stay with new package discount. Can I do this?

I really wanted to stay at the WL for our Dec vacation but it is booked for this package.

I currently have 8 nights at CBR. I was looking on the disney website and it looked like I could do the following:

Book CBR with the discount for 4 nights, but get 9 day MYW passes. Then book 4 nights at the AAA discount for WL.

Can I book 4 nights but 9 day MYW passes? Is that allowed?

Yes, you can. We do this all the time.

First I book a package with 1st resort, tickets and dining plan. Then I book next hotel for room only and use tickets from first package.

Your tickets are good for 14 days from 1st day you use them.

Sure, you can buy any length of ticket, up to 10 days, regardless of your length of hotel stay.

I think the only time your number of nights has to match days on a package is for the dining plans.

Yes, you can do this. Although, if you want the dining plan for both resort stays you have to at least buy a 1 day magic your way base ticket. Which is what we had to do.

We are booked under the Visa dining promo.

Dec 1-5 AKL savanna bunk bed room, 8 day magic your way plus park hopper, and dining.

Dec 5-9 CSR standard view, 1 day magic your way base ticket, and dining.

So yes you can have the 9 day ticket and only stay 4 days. Just remember to keep your card with the tickets on them when you check into the WL. Even though WL will give you a card for your room, you still use the card from CBR for your tickets.
