Hello my friend

I will be posting pictures this weekend...I promise! We have a long weekend so latest will be Monday!

Hi! Just found your TR a couple of days ago and have been racing through it. I can't believe that we have so many things in common!
We're in Winnipeg too!
Last time we were in DW we stayed at ASMu and went to the MNSSHP (2009).
I remember the size of the spiders. There was only one that was in the same place all week. Over by the piano pool. It was huge!
My birthday is October 30th.
We love the Keg. Wasn't positive, but was that the downtown Keg on Garry?

Looking forward to more!

Another Winnipeger.....love it!!! Our similarities are hilarious....who knew? It was actually the Keg on Portage and Moray...we live in St. James and that is our absolute fav!!!

Glad you got to see the Jedi Training Academy! It is so fun to watch the kids take on Darth Vader. Some of them get so into it which makes it pretty entertaining even if you don't have your own kid in it!

So true...it was so much fun to watch....actually, I don't know which was better, watching the kids or their parents watch them

Hi! Usually I just lurk on the trip reports board and enjoy reading about everyone's adventures, but since this is fast becoming a roll-call for Winnipeggers, count me in too! It's so nice to see that there are fellow Disney addicts in this city, usually our friends and family just roll their eyes now when we bring up our trips. We were at WDW almost the same time as you, Sept. 21 to 28, and we went to MNSSHP on the 21st.

Yipeee another Winnipegger!! Our friends do that too....I always find humor in the fact that they can go to the same resort in Mexico year after year after year...but they think we're nuts for going to Disney every year....I dont' get it That would have been nice to have met up last year.....

We were there and loved it!!! Had a great time and not so fun getting to our cars in the blizzard conditions afterwards!!

I didn't go to the Heart concert, but Jasmine and Jeff picked me up from work downtown and then we went for dinner....I couldn't believe the roads. When we were driving down Ness by the airfield it was a complete white out Glad we weren't out on the highways!!

That would be a lot of fun for a Saturday or Sunday lunch! We should go to this nice cafe restaurant on Acedemy Rd. (the name escapes me right now) and then we could walk down the street to Micheal Rodents and check out his Disney gear!!

Unfortunately for me, I don't get Monday off!! Until it becomes a Federal Holiday across Canada, I'll still be getting up at 5;30 am on Monday!!
The rest of the family will be sleeping in!!! Grrr..

DD is on her way home from Brandon again right now, so hopefully, she doesn't land in the ditch this time!!

Actually, it was "Saucers" that I was thinking of! Just a cafe on Academy!
They have good food!
But I'd be happy with anywhere!!

Queen must be having a good weekend with Jasmine home! My daughters home from Brandon... but too busy to visit with the parents!!

I love the pics so far!! I can't believe how blue that water is! It's really making me mad that I didn't do a Disney Cruise while I was a CM and got a huge discount Oh well. Maybe in the coming years I can do one, even if it's without a CM discount!!
