Then of course I had to get a picture of my girl waiting too....

By the time the bus arrived, we weren't the only people to get on...there were 4 other families. Jasmine and I usually choose to sit nearer the back of the bus but not the back row this time....so a grandma, mom and daughter sat behind us. The little girl was beyond adorable...the mom was anything but adorable. The little girl was asking a question or something, honestly I don't know because she certainly wasn't drawing attention to herself. I heard the mom's tone in her voice and I elbowed Jasmine to listen. The little one was asking her grandma for something and the mom responded with "shut up or I'm gonna slap you across the face".....that is exactly how I looked I'm sure!! I turned to Jasmine and asked if she heard what I did and I didn't have to wait for her response because I could see it on Jasmine's face. The grandma said something so quietly to the mom, I didn't hear what it was, but the mom responded with "that's why she's such a little b@#$% because you spoil her rotten". I about lost my mind at this point and turned around....I had to. I said nothing, if I had, I'm not really sure what would have happened. I did nothing but glare at the mother, letting her know we, along with everyone else on the bus could hear her. I eventually turned back around and whispered to Jas "if that's how she behaves in public, can you imagine what that child endures in private" it broke my heart. What makes someone treat a child so horribly? Ok, enough of that.......Jasmine and I headed toward the restaurant. I wasn't thinking of taking pictures on the way because I couldn't get that little girl out of my mind.....so I took this once we reached our destination....I love this shot

I had this picture with Jasmine and Mary's girls, but I loved the way it looked at night so I couldn't resist.

Sign just outside the restaurant....I have to say, we were both starving and pretty excited about our meal

We had an amazing server....amazing, is all I can say. She brought us our drinks, giving us time to look over the menu...I had an Octopus Juice which is beyond delicious and Jasmine had a lava smoothie, which was her drink of choice everyday at the pool too!!! Our server was kind enough to take this picture of us before our meals arrived
Such a sad story about the little girl. Luckily she has her grandma who hopefully does her best to make the little girl feel loved and know she is special. On a brighter note I love the Coral Reef too! Such yummy food in a great setting. I'm going in January and can't wait!
Wow I might have to give the Coral Reef another try, that meal looks amazing! We had a bad experience there a few years ago (and I don't like seafood) and it hasn't even made our consideration lists.
As fas as that mother goes, it's so sad. My mom is a preschool teacher and I worked with her one summer and let me tell you, I learned a lot about what not to do as a parent from some of them.![]()
Wow I have never seen bus lines so empty. Grey Goose slushie
Nasty momma![]()
Great update Queen....love seeing the pics of your food from Coral Reef. I am not sure which looks better - the bass or the tenderloin.
We LOVED Coral Reef when we went in May too. My MIL's lobster raviolli was amazing! Is there a dish that isn't good there???
Loving your report, as usual! You and Jas seem to be the type of mom and daughter who would have fun and make good times wherever you are, but it is so obvious from your photos that you are both having the best time in Disney!
Can't wait for the next update!![]()
Wow the food at the Coral Reef looks fantastic! I have read so many bad reviews of that place so I have been hesitant to try it. I think I'll add it to my list of restaurants for our Sept trip though.![]()
Wow-- never see such an empty bus stop! That mom sounds just horrific-- who talks about a child that way?
Aww, we love the Coral Reef too! That pork looks so amazing!
Sorry I am a couple pages behind!
There is nothing like waking up to a Mickey waffle!
Yay for soarin walk on!
Aw sounds like a good dismeet!
That bug looks disgusting!
I love the dress Jasmine wore to the Coral Reef!
I'm sorry about your unpleasant bus ride
The food looks delicious!
What a great way to end a night at Disney!
All I can say if that mom doesn't cut it out and get her act together, she is going to be dealing with the worst teenager on earth. Uggghhhhhh!
But, aside from that, your update was delightful. Your meal looked wonderful and its so great to read a good review of Coral Reef. The restaurant is so cool and its a shame the food reviews are usually less than stellar.
BTW - you look great in your cute little skirt. It's obvious your weight loss plan payed off!
Rough about the mom. Sadly, I've noticed a lot of that or worse at WDW.
Other than that, great update! I love how well you and Jasmine get along and have fun at WDW. You seem to have such a great relationship! Cute pic!
I'm far from a fish person, but that dinner looked yummmy!
I'm all caught up reading!!!Looks like you had a great time with a lot of Dismeets. I just hate I missed seeing ya'll!
These are some great pictures of two beautiful women!
Crazy about the bus ride. It makes me so sad to think of how some children are being raised.
I'm sorry about Jasmine's & Aladdin's breakup, especially since you really liked him. It's not often a parent really likes who their child is dating.
The pedicure pictures are too cute!
And, my Grey Goose Slushie was not as big as yours!!!! Mine was teeny!
Congrats on the weight-loss. You must really be doing good with self-control only eating 1/2 of the bread piece from Wolfgang Puck. I would've ate that whole basket & asked for more!
I can't wait to see Jasmine wearing her new dress. I loved it! I've never been to Tren-D before. I will make sure I check it out next time I'm in WDW.
I'm enjoying your TR & looking fwd to reading more!
Wow I missed two updates already...it's amazing how much less dis time i have when university starts again.
The pics of you guys are beautiful...your both so photogenic!
And yikes about that mom....it is downright awful the kinds of abuse that so many kids have to endure.
Looking forward to more![]()
Hi Queen! I just wanted to share my good news... I was able to change my leave dates and now have a trip booked for March!!Check out my new ticker!! Woo hoo!!

Hi Queen! All caught up again. Love the pictures of you, Jas, Mary and her girls.Y'all look so cute. I can't wait for us to get a pic like that. Wish you could come the week of Oct.1 next year with us...we are sure to have a week of all out fun! I'm still planning on making it at least for a long weekend during your trip next summer though.
We loved the Coral Reef in May. So glad you had a great experience! I can't believe you were the only people in line for the bus! That's fantastic!!
Yikes about the little girl on the bus.
Tell Jas we say hi! The girls loved the pic you posted of her spending her giftcard. I think Josie was jealous that Avery and Cayley were riding with Jas and she hasn't gotten to do it. She had me cracking up. I can't believe she was actually pouting over it.
Hope you have a nice weekend!![]()
Great updates! The food at the Coral Reef looks great. Hmm what to have next summerI still can't believe you held your tongue....I know what you are capable of
Can't wait for more.
Hello - Great updates...Isn't it so hard to decide which restaurants to choose?! We ate at Coral Reef; loved the atmosphere, but the food was so so. We'll have to give it another try, but there are so many other places to try...like Cat Cora's.
I'm hooked! Thank you for the CR review,we have a ressie in 26 days, and i've been worrying and worrying about it based on all the negative reviews, but I tell you what, that pork and choc wave are in my future!![]()
I'm getting all caught up!!! Looks like a good meal at CR!! I usually get the choco wave too but got the gelato dessert in Aug. It was good but I missed the Choco Wave!
Just thought I would pop in quick and wish Jas a:
HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY
