SPIDERS...Why did it have to be....SPIDERS

LOVE the update and that food looks AMAZING. We have never eaten at WP, but that chicken looks sooooooo good. I get the chicken dish at Kona and it is to die for too. The carrot cake made my mouth water....:rotfl2:.

Hey Dana.....you would love it then!! I will have to try the chicken at Kona!!

Joining in! It's funny that I haven't read any of your PTR or TR because lot's of my Dis friends are your Dis friends too!! I guess better late than never though huh!? :goodvibes Your daughter is beautiful! It looks like you two get along great!! Not the normal Teenager/Mom relationship!! Very sweet!!

I am really enjoying your trip report and all the great pictures! Looking forward to reading more!

Welcome and thanks for coming over! We obviously have fantastic taste in our dis-friends....I consider myself so lucky to have met all of them! Thank you for your kind words....we have a wonderful relationship....and there is nothing I love more than spending my vacation time with her!

Hopefully tomorrow evening I'll have another update done:cool1:

Those Minnie apples are to cute!! I wonder if I could make those......hmmmm... (I say that about everything there, I have had the beignet recipe on my list of things to make for about 6 years now! lol)

I said that about the cheddar cheese soup at Le Cellier.....we should get together and we could have soup and beignet's......doesn't that sound great:yay:

Oh my we would have a blast!!! I say lets do it. Next time you are in MI that is. :rotfl: I think it would be worth it. Or I guess even Disney will do. LOL We can go to OKW or Bonnet Creek, they have full kitchens so we could eat all day. :rotfl:

Glad to have you, welcome!!! We do have fun together...it's just so easy! I am going to start working on my next post right now!!!:thumbsup2

Hi! Your report is great! You and your daughter are so cute together. I'm jealous of you guys, my mom and I don't have that kind of relationship. DH and I will be at ASMu in less than a month for his b-day trip!! We've stayed there before and really like the resort a lot. Can't wait to read more about your adventures! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Such a yummmmmmmy update!! I'm getting so hungry reading all these TRs! I'm with you on the Minnie apples being too cute to eat. I've wanted to get one so bad so many times. I bet the kids would have no issue taking a bite. :rotfl:

Wolfgang Puck's is sooo yummy! We've only been once(2005), but I'm going to have to plan another visit. We actually got a couple free $25 certificates that I let expire last year! :sad1: Dh got to meet Wolfgang a few times through work and was so excited! We might have way too many of his products after that. He had to tell our waitress about meeting him. She just rolled her eyes and said that everyone tells her that! :rotfl: I don't think WP has anything to do with the restaurant anymore, if I'm remembering correctly? :confused3 I think I only got some sort of pizza that visit, but it was sooooooo goood!!

Well - I did it. I added WP to our dining reservations for the day we arrive! Since we've decided NOT to go to a park (we already have a 10 day park hopper and hate to use a full day to attend for a 1/2 day - and to add a day is they charge at the rate of FULL PRICE!!! 10 day is the max. Then need to change this IMO) this will work out great. We can eat at WP and then hit the shops in DTD. :thumbsup2

Hello and welcome, so glad you are with us! I'm so sorry to hear that you don't have that kind of relationship with you mom:sad2: I honestly treasure every moment we can share together...I honestly think it has something to do with it always being just the 2 of us....can't imagine our lives any other way though:hug: I'm with you, we love ASMu too, we have so many wonderful memories there!

I love the pizza there, I think it's one of the best I've ever had. I always thought I liked a thick crust, but apparently I have no problem scarfing down a thin crust either!:rolleyes1 I would love to go to Spago's someday .... on my bucket list!

Oh Lisa that's great...I hope you love it! I couldn't agree with you more .... we never go to a park on arrival day because I can't justify loosing that half day....they really need to at least extend to a 14 day....I think more and more people are staying longer!

I don't know what it is, but I never seem to have a great sleep the first few nights we're at the World....I think it's the anticipation of all that's to come. Well this trip was no different...I was wide awake at 5 am with nothing to do! I thought about re-arranging some of the clothes in the drawer, but I think Jasmine might have thrown something at me, so I just waited until 630 then got up to shower for our big day at Epcot.....we were going to have our second Dis-meet of our trip with Mary and her girls Cayley and Avery (MaryAZ). Jasmine got up and got herself ready and we headed for the food court at the hotel to grab breakfast...we decided we would split a Mickey waffles and sausages and boy was it good....I love those waffles. We headed out and an Epcot bus was just pulling up....our luck was continuing!
095.jpg

We were trying to make rope drop but Jasmine claims we didn't because I had to stop and take too many pictures...when is that girl gonna learn that's what I do:rotfl2:
096.jpg

We were both so excited to be arriving....I love our first full park day!
097.jpg

There is something about this shot that I absolutely love, I take one every trip....I think it's beautiful!
098.jpg

We headed straight for Soarin....like everyone else in the park, but we were so surprised at the size of the crowd...it was practically non existent...this made us very happy. When we arrived at the ride the posted wait time was 15 minutes...we were happy campers!
100.jpg

While we were in line waiting to board I sent Mary a text telling her where we were and that I would text her when we were done! She replied that they were on Living With the Land so we decided we would just meet them at the exit. It was like meeting an old friend when I saw Mary....and we laughed when Cayley ran right at Jasmine and threw her arms around her yelling Jasmine Jasmine! It really was a moment I wished I had captured on film. Avery was very excited to meet us too and once we all exchanged hugs we decided we would head over and ride Nemo....here's Jasmine and Cayley, as you can tell they became attached very quickly...it really was priceless!
101.jpg

The girls decided they would ride in one clam mobile and Mary and I rode in another....we were having so much fun! After we were finished, we headed to Turtle Talk with Crush....Jasmine sat on the floor with the girls and Mary and I were right behind them. What fun we had...that Crush is crazy!
102.jpg

As we were leaving we decided we would head over to Test Track...but we stopped for snacks first....I think Mary and the girls got ice cream and Jasmine and I each grabbed a bottle of water....it was hot! I never uttered those words once though because it was no where near as hot as August so I didn't want to jinx us:rotfl2:
104.jpg

I know you'll all be shocked when I tell you that they had problems with the ride while we were waiting in line and I have to say Mary's girls do so well. We had our ride and as we were walking through the end the girls all decided they needed to try out the cars....I love this picture of them!!!
105.jpg

Cayley was so funny, she kept telling Jasmine she needed her seatbelt done up....Jasmine told me later it helped spending time with Mary's girls because she was missing having her cousins with us:hug:
106.jpg

Now I can't remember exactly what they had set up, but it was something to do with making sure your child is in the right car seat for their height and weight...here is Cayley getting measured....she is so cute I can't stand it!!!
107.jpg

After TT we wandered over to Mousegears to look around and before long it was time to part ways. Here is a picture of Mary, Avery and I outside Mousegears....I hoped we see each other again on our trip....texting was a beautiful thing to keep in touch with our friends!

Jasmine and I then headed over to World Showcase to meet up with Sophia and her family as this was their last day and Sophia had been so kind as to bring Jasmine and I pens from the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame but had forgotten them the morning we met for breakfast. It was nice to see our new friends one last time before they headed home....and we decided we would keep in touch by text for the rest of our trip! It's so nice to do that with people who truly get our excitement about being in the World. Thanks again Sophia and Joe....it was so great seeing you one last time!!!
108.jpg

We then decided since we were so close to the International Gateway that we would just take the boat to DHS and grab our bus from there....the pool was calling our names! We grabbed lunch at the resort....on this day we split a quesadilla and a caramel sundae for lunch and headed to the pool. Along the way...this guys was in the middle of the walkway....thank God Jasmine saw it before I stepped on it. Looking at the picture now I realize that I should have put mine or Jasmine's flipflop beside it so you could get a sense of how big it was...too big to step on:eek:
109.jpg

Once we got over our small coronaries we grabbed our loungers and set up for the afternoon. Here's my girl working on her tan.

Next update will be our evening at Epcot including dinner at Coral Reef!!!!!

Hey Queen...all caught up! phew!

Great that you were able to meet Mary! And isn't that 1st full day in the parks, with the rest of your vacation stretched out in front of you the best!??

Love the pics of Jas and the girls in the cars.

And what a great way to spend the afternoon - poolside!

Yay for short lines and bus mojo!

Can't wait to hear about Coral Reef....hope it was good! We loved it in May!:goodvibes

Great update, Queen. Love the pics of Jasmie with the girls. Aren't they just the sweetest things?

It sounds like you guys had a great time at Epcot.

Epcot is my favorite park! Your photos make me miss it so much.:sad2: I'm deployed to Kuwait right now and won't be home until September. I'm trying to get a trip put together for when I'm home on R&R leave in April but it just isn't coming together... It's killing me!! I'll just have to live vicariously through everyone here for the next 11 months!:goodvibes

Just stopping by before I leave today!!! Another great update!!! I read the update on Mary's already but yours is great too!!!
I wonder if you saw my brother at Test Track...hmm?? lol

Nice update!

Your Dismeet looks so fun! The pictures of the girls all together are adorable :cutie:

As for that giant bug :scared1: We saw a ton of those scurrying around Epcot, during evening EMH a year ago, and they totally scared the heck out of me!

All Jasmine clothes are so cute! The girl has good taste :thumbsup2

Sounded like a fun morning. Maybe Jasmine should explore a career as a Nanny. She seems to have a way with the little ones.

Catching up...
Great updates! :thumbsup2

I am sorry your daughter broke up with her boyfriend. :( I am sorry you are feeling heartbroken. My daughter is till very young but I am not looking forwart to her dating years. :laughing:If only we could chose for them, right?

The breakfast at Kouzzina sounds yummy. ;) It is definitely on my list of places to try on a future visit. It is specially cool that you got to enjoy it with other Disers.:thumbsup2

Taking breaks to go enjoy the pool is very smart. I wish we had done more of that!:sad2:

Anyways, I can't wait to read more.
Have a great weekend!
