Spiderman Vs The Mummy

Haven't done Spidey as yet (although this will be the 3rd visit) Don't think I'd bother with Mummy again unless it was an empty queue!

What type of ride is Spidey? rough motion? what happens on it?

Martin.

Spiderman is a high-tech indoor 3-d motion simulator ride where Spidey battles it out against all his enemies.
The highlight is a virtual 400 foot freefall experience from a skyscraper, you feel like you are falling.
The ride is visually brilliant but not necessarily one that would cause motion sickness , there is some spinning also - nothing like as bumpy as the likes of Back To the Future for example.

And my kids still laugh at me for holding onto the lap bar and screaming. :confused3

I vote for Spiderman. Perhaps the most innovative ride that I have ever been on. I have been on it many times and I am still amazed each and every time.

Don't get me wrong, I thought the Mummy was great but it's very much a sum of it's good parts. Whereas Spiderman is amazing and like nothing else from start to finish.

Thanks,
Stephen.

The Mummy! thought it was absoulutely fantastic as an all round ride. Now Spidey, on the other hand, scared me half to death, the characters were too close and I kept jumping out of my skin. Maybe I'll feel better after a repeat ride

When we went on spidey DW thought that it was just a 3d show. She was absolutly terrified by it. Unfortunately for me I was sat next to her and she grabbed my arm to control her terror. The resultant finger marks and general bruising lasted for a couple of weeks (ouch).

I enjoyed both. The queue area for the Mummy is really well themed.
