Hi everyone, I am going to Universal at the end of August. Does anyone have any info when the Spiderman ride will be upgraded and when it will be finished?

That info hasn't been made public yet. When they make their next set of announcements next week (Jan. 25), some details will come out.

The 25'th is my birthday,so the new news that UNI comes out with would be a great gift!!!

This news broke my heart. I'm bringing four people to Universal (staying onsite) for a couple days at very end of Feb. Three of them have only done Disney before. As far as I'm concerned Spider-man is still the best ride at any theme park in Florida.

Hopefully the new mini golf courses will be open by then, taking away some of the sting.

So sad. We will be there mid-February. Oh, well. Now we have something else to look forward to when we come back in May.

Thanks to a wonderful site called Theme Park Insider, Robert Niles has leaked that Spiderman's HD update will be complete in March.
