Spiderman character meal?

I got an email this morning saying that Spiderman was coming back to a character meal at IOA. It didnt give much detail, just a number to call (which I didn't have time to do). Does anyone know anything about this?

I made reservations for the character breakfast at Confiscos last week and was told that in addition to Dr. Seuss characters, Spiderman and Captain America would be in attendance. Hope this helps!

I got that email also. I was wondering . . . would the character meals/breakfast be interesting to an 11 and 12 year old? We did the Pooh character breakfast years ago at Disney and had fun but my son was much younger. This year, we are traveling with him and a friend and I thought it might be cool for them to meet spidey, but wasn't sure if it was "uncool" to that age. Any thoughts?

Well, I am alot older than that, and I am just as excited for me as I am for my 4 year old son!

This is the breakfast that used to have Cat in the Hat, Grinch, as well as Thing 1 and 2. Now they removed, Thing 1 and 2 and replaced them with Spiderman and Captain America. I think that's great!

Is this character b'fast only during the summer season? I'll be taking my little nephew in early Dec. and he would LOVE this !!!

Don't know how long the breakfast is running until but my ressies are for the end of August. We are taking our three boys, 11, 7 and infant- (little souvenier from last summer's trip, by the way!) I spoke to "James" at reservations and he is the one who told me about Spidey and Capt America. I am so glad they are doing this. We have taken the boys to many of the character dining events over at WDW but it is mostly princesses and Pooh and Tigger. Don't get me wrong they love the interaction but I am glad to see Universal is utilizing their Super Heroes. It would be nice to see Disney do something with the Toy Story characters.

We are still doing CRT at the Castle during this trip, my hubby wanted me to get ressies so he can take pictures of the baby with the Princesses. The older two don't mind, plus the food's good and they get to eat in the castle. So everyone's happy.

I also want to mention that I think the price for the Confisco breakfast is very reasonable.

So who do I contact for this character breakfast? My 4 year old daughter loves SpiderMan, and it would be really neat to have her meet the man itself.... We will be there at the end of August. Any info would be appreciated.

I just called Ps @ Univ and was told that Spidey will only appear July 1st thru July 5th due to the Spiderman2 premier

I just called back after reading your post. The July 1-July 5 breakfast is a special event for AP holders only and it is just Spiderman to promote the new movie, however, the regular character breakfast at Confisco Grill now has the Grinch, the Cat in the Hat, Captain American and SPIDERMAN!! My PS is for July 11 and I confirmed that he would be there. Yeah!!!

At most restaurants you get 15% off your bill with preferred annual pass. Anyone know if this is true for character breakfast as well?

I called 1407-503-DINE to make the ressies for August. I was told that Spidey will be there during that time so I was able to make ressies for the 6th.
