Just saw this movie today! It is out of this world! I think it was better than the first one! Anyone else?

I saw the movie...I thought it was pretty good, but I had a lot on my mind, so I couldn't focus. :o

Fly Fly, I hope everything is okay. Are you alright? PM me if you want!

I totally agree! I liked it alot better than the 1st movie! The storyline was better and I liked the moral of the movie! "Sometimes you have to give up your dream to do the right thing"!

Going hopefully tomorrow. Will post if I do.

SpideyHulk - yeah, everything's okay, just is really crazy...I have my filmmaking class, and my aunt is visiting with us, not to mention some other things on my mind. It's just...crazy. :) I was just not able to focus because of it all...nothing bad, just...distracting, if you will.

We saw it yesterday SH. Also liked it better than the 1st one. One of my fav. lines....."If sorrys (sp?) were crackers, my daughter would be fat!" Actually caught my kids on the edges of their seats a few times which is the equivalent of 2 thumbs up! :p

It was perfect, except for the Ebay line.
Daymn. It's like a super comic movie set in another land, and then they bring us back to reality by bringing up Ebay for the money. Bad. Ebay is not around in this movie. Comic relief = bad. The joke didn't go over well.
Plus the super hero got his butt kicked for 99 percent of the movie. I mean, how low can you take a person?
Same thing happened in LOTR3, and Matrix3, and in M3, the good guy tied by sacrificing himself. Bad ending. People want good endings.
This one had a good ending, but of coarse, left the door open to SP3.

Phenomenal movie. The set-up for part 3 was nicely done as well. :Smooth:

My kids took me to Spider-man 2 on my birthday this past Friday. The movie received thumbs up from everyone. We were sitting so close that there were a couple of times I thought I was back on the ride at IOA!

Saw it last week at Citywalk. It was great. Came home and watched Spiderman 1 on video. Consensus was we liked No. 2 better. My 11 YO son thought the only negative was "too much kissing". Hope Tobey McGuire will be back for No. 3.

My whole family watched Spiderman 1 on DVD Wednesday night and then watched Spiderman 2 in the theater on Thursday afternoon. We all loved it. My youngest is 4 and he was just mesmerized (and not too scared either). I liked the fact that there wasn't any gory violence. Now I can't wait for the kids (and DH and I!) to meet Spidey in November!

snoozn

What part do they mention ebay? I missed that! But I can't wait for part 3 too!

Fly Fly,

Glad everything is okay. I worried about ya for a second!

SH,
I want to say it was the scene where the garbage man found the Spidey suit. After being offered money by the Bugle editor (can't think of his name right now) he tells him he could get more for it on E-bay.

You are right. I walked out during that time to take DS to the restroom (too much soda....):p

But I just asked my wife and she told me. I missed about 2 minutes of the movie.

We went to see the movie yesterday. I, too, liked it even better than the first one. It had everything fall into place nicely and then set us up for SM3. I really liked Molina as Doc Ock. I just felt there was a bit too much of the love story.

In the theatre we were in, there was a father with his son of about 6 behind us. At the scene where Peter and MJ are in the cafe talking (again!) and then all the Doc Ock action starts, the little kid screams out "Now this is more like it!" My sentiments exactly;)

The scene on the train was outstanding. Our family gave it four thumbs up.::yes::

The Bugle Editor = J. Jonah Jameson aka J.J.J.

Just saw it today, good flick. I thought elements were better than the first, but I too thought the love scenes were a bit long, though extremly important to defining the characters. I loved Doc Oc's character, actually more than the Green Goblin. I also thought the Jameson role was great. They really did a good job setting up for the third, but I hope they have dual villains instead of just another GG.

Saw it today and loved it! I did like the first one just a little bit better though. There were a few scenes that dragged on a bit too long. There were a couple of 7 year olds behind us and they got antsy during the love story parts. I love the setup for part 3!
