Spiderman 2 or Shrek 2 ?!?

Okay, I have the choice of seeing Spiderman 2 or Shrek 2 (thankfully, in English and subtitled in Japanese) this weekend.

If you had to pay close to $16.50 to see either (yep, that's the going rate for a ticket here in Japan), which one would you see?

I do not know how to say this emphatically enough...SPIDERMAN 2, for the love of all that is holy! (Yes, I hate Shrek! LOL)

I really enjoyed both films but Shrek2 was my favorite movie of the summer. It was very funny and Antonio Bandaras positively stole the show as Puss in Boots. If you do choose Shrek2, make sure you stay through the credits for a special "surprise" ending involving Donkey.

Shrek 2. I've seen both.

Shrek 2 was so good that I went to see it at the theatre twice (and I'm one of those people who hates theatres and would rather wait for the dvd to come out).

I've see both. Spiderman was a disappointment! Shrek was hilarious. Definately see Shrek!!!

Both were great, but different. Shrek2 was hilarious... Spiderman2 was an excellent action/adventure movie. I fully expected to take a nap during Spiderman2, but the action grabs you right from the start. We saw it in a large screen theater and at times I felt like I was on a rollercoaster! Definitely did not expect to love Spiderman2 Go see both! But if you had to choose only 1, decide whether you want to see a cute comedy, or an action/adventure movie. I recommend both!

Did you see the first Spiderman and the first Shrek? If you enjoyed one more than the other then chances are you will get the same result with the sequel.

I personally didn't like shrek. It was predictable, and trite.

Now, Spiderman was full of action, and it was at least more interesting .

I would vote for Spiderman.

We saw both too.

We WOULD see Spiderman 2 again, but we wouldn't see Shrek 2 again. So, I'd say Spiderman.

Excellent movie! I highly reccommend it if you can only see one of the two movies.

Shrek 2 is good, a bit slow to start but it picks up nicely in the middle. And as Figment22 said, Antonio Bandaras definately steals the movie.

I enjoyed both of them but I've seen Shrek 2 twice and would see it again. It definitely deserves to be the biggest animated moneymaker of all time in my opinion!
