My son is a huge Spider-Man and he really wants to see him when we go to Disney. Is there anywhere besides Universal to see him? If not, which park is he in? I'm trying to decide if we want to pay for 2 adults and 2 kids (will be 4 and 5 years when we go) or if we want to split up and let DH and DS (5) go to Universal while I take DD (4) and have a princess day.

I have the same question
I believe that WDW (although Disney own Marvel) can't have Marvel Characters in their parks but can sell the merchandise (Avengers etc) - on that basis Universal would be the only place you could see Spiderman.

I am not 100% sure though

Spiderman is at Islands of Adventure. There is a Spiderman ride and Spiderman also does many meet and greets in his own photo op location across from the Spiderman ride.

WDW cannot use any Marvel characters that Universal currently uses.

I knew that Spider-Man was not at WDW but I wasn't sure if he was anywhere else in the Orlando area, outside of Universal Studios. Thanks for the replies! Would a 4 year old girl like IoA? Or should I think about doing something special with her while the boys hunt for Spider-Man?

Hi there, Im a fire fighters wife too!! My 5 yr old and 6 yr old (1 boy 1 girl) are insanely excited for IOA, there is Seuss land there, so the Lorax, thing one and thing two and the cat in the hat characters, fun rides in this area for that age. Also in Jurassic park area the discovery center has fun kid stuff, not scary at all, they have Dino eggs and a "hatching" baby Dino. IOA has lots of kids stuff

They recently update the spiderman ride to make it more clear and realistic . I love this Ride

Not only is the Spider-Man ride one of the best, if not THE best, in any American theme park, the Spider-Man meet and greet is one of the best for kids. Spidey interacts with the kids, jokes around, signs autographs, and the photo you do is represented as a cover of a comic book. Really unique and well worth justifying the Photopass if you know your kid will definitely want the Spidey photo.

I don't know about going online however you get a schedule sheet with your map as you enter Islands Of Adventure.

Those times are scheduled based on the park hours so they change often. The park map will have everything listed when you arrive.
