Spice Road for Illuminations?

Hello-

Is Spice Road table a good restaurant to view Illuminations from? Trying to figure out ADR times and wondering if I should make a reservation that overlaps Illuminations time... or if we should try to be finished with dinner beforehand to walk to a better viewing spot.

I would be finished. There are only about 5 tables on the rail and no viewing area. You should still have decent view next row in but after that the roof, columns etc get in the way. There is also an island blocking the view. There are about 5 tables inside by windows but the island would be even more an issue there.

If you've seen it many times and just want it for background it's fine but if you really want to view Illuminations, I would finish up and find a better view.

This is the entire rail seating. If you look at bottom you can see I am standing on the outside rail. No where to stand and watch, you have to stay at your table.

The globe is over between those two buildings on other side of lake. You can see the island issue.
