My DH took me on a surprise trip to WDW last weekend for my birthday. Even though I had already gotten a huge present, I had to buy everything I saw at WoD. heehee. Sorry if this has been posted before. I've read about the Capture the Memories stuff but I missed any posts that went into detail.

My plan was to go to WoD first to get the 10% discount. Then I was going to 2Rs to get anything else. I ended up postponing the 2Rs purchases because the items were Disney but not theme park specific. WoD had most of the stuff on one aisle, so I mistakenly assumed that's all they had. While in line, I spotted some Tinkerbell stuff hanging near a Tinkerbell display and some Disney Baby near the baby section. Next time, I'll have to look better.

Here's what I got:

Ears to You 2002 Album $25

8 1/2 X 11 kits $12 each--Princess, Disney World. These have 4 frames, a sticker sheet, 3 adhesive backed die cut sheets, 8 pages of pattern paper (2 each of 4 designs), and 2 sheets of solid paper. They also had transportation at 2Rs, but not a WoD.

5 X 7 kits $8--I got the transportation not realizing I could've gotten the larger one at 2Rs. They also had the same themes as above. Everything is the same except on a smaller scale. You only get one of each sheet of paper. Also saw Disney Babies.

4 x 6 (estimate) sticker sheets--$3 for 2 in a pack. Ears to You 2002, Princess, Walt Disney World in red/white/blue, transportation, characters on rides. My only complaint is that many of these are just repeats of what you get above. I didn't take the time to examine it til I got home, but I could've done w/o some of the duplicates.

sticker strips--$1.25 each. Mostly the same as above only on a smaller scale. I got 2 of each of these since I have 2 daughters. Should've passed them up.

Sticker Boxes $6. Disney World, Pooh, Mickey and Friends, Girlfriends (Daisy and Minnie). You get 5 strips of 4 designs. Each strip has about 10 small stickers. These are really cute. Also saw Tinkerbell ones.

Now I can't wait to start on my pages!

Wow! You are stocked up! LOL Are you going to post your pages so we can see what you do with all those supplies? :)

are there pictures of the kits online anywhere? My parents are going to WDW in October and I may have to add some of these things to my list.

I think the World of Disney store in Down Town Disney kind of in the center. If I have the right store and you are staying on site, have an American Express card and spend $50 you can save 15%! At least this was the case for the past several years. Falls under the white glove treatment!
I hope we get to go this winter! Happy shopping!

LOL Hopemax! My Parents live 20 minutes from Disney and I called them the other day and asked my Dad to pick up a "few" things for me! :) I keep calling and adding things to that list! This thread just has me adding a few more things to the list!! LOL

Ohhh boy- better add some more $$$ to my budget!! Thanks for the info!

Are there anymore Scrapbook stores in Downtown Disney, other than wod and 2Rs?

I wanted to apologize if I posted my earlier message a gazillion times. My new cable modem was giving me trouble. I didn't realize I'd even managed to send the message once until just now.

You're right, better save some money. lol. I'm already planning a whole afternoon at Downtown Disney in December so I can check things out more carefully. Going on what I've read on this board, World of Disney and 2Rs has the most stuff. Actually though there is a lot of duplication so you can avoid spending too much.

I'd be happy to scan the kits (and any pages that I do w/them, but lately I seem to be in a collecting mode. Haven't actually USED anything.) I don't know how to upload stuff. I could email it to people if they'd like. I won't get to it til the weekend.

I'd love to see the packs-- and I know what you mean about collecting! Sometimes when I can't make the time to actually scrap, I manage to squeeze in a few minutes at the LSS on the way home! It gets me through.:D :D

WHICH ONE SHOULD I GO TO FIRST WOD OR 2RS? IWOULD LIKE TO GO TO THE ONE THAT HAD THE MOST FIRST. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHICH HAS THE MOST?

2Rs has the most, but if you are a Disney Club, DVC, or American Express member, you can get a discount at World of Disney.

I'll scan the items this weekend. I was looking on ebay earlier and I see one that I missed at WDW.

I'm not a member of any of those groups. So I will go to 2Rs first and then to WOD.
I can't hardly wait just five more days! I don't know who's more excited me or the kids?

Did they have 12X 12 good quality albums?
I want to do an album just on the trip! ;) quess where my spending money is going! :)

The album is 3 ring, not my favorite. The cover is nice though and it holds lots of pages. The pages are not quite 12 x 12. They're more like 11 3/4 X 12. 2 years ago I did 20 pages w/o realizing. When I went to put them in, they wouldn't fit! I had to trim 1/4 inch off each one. On most, it didn't matter much, but on some I had to cut photos. (Didn't know about Undo at that point!) Now I put a tiny check mark at the top of each page when I open a fresh refill pack.

Oh - I might just have to get one :p
What pictures do they have on the covers? Do you know anywhere on the net that carries them to look at - I am just SOOO ewxcited - and glad I didn't already buy a CM book.
THanks for the info Partridge!

www.mousememories.com might have them. I haven't looked. The cover is nice. It says, "Ears to You 2002" and has Mickey and the gang on it. It's mostly blue w/some red. It's not metallic exactly, but it has a sheen to it. There's a sticker sheet that has the same phrase and logo. I bought it to make my title page.

Wow I LOVE IT!

Is it the same price @ Disney? $35
Oh I can't wait to start the scrapbook - never mind the trip!:D

I know what you mean Patty! I've been gathering supplies like there's no tomorrow. I paid $25 for the Ears to You book at World of Disney, which is odd because I'm sure I paid $35 for the "Four Parks One World" book I bought 2 years ago. Could Disney have gone DOWN on prices? That would be a miracle. lol

Hard to believe that they went down on prices- maybe you hit a sale!

Thanks for the great info! I can't wait! Have you seen the CM snap-pack for Disney? I likes it so much I bought 2!

Patty
