Spending my birthday in Disney! Oct 2010 PTR - UPDATED 10/11 TR STARTED

It's super slow at work today and this day is dragging. I've been surfing the web practically all day with the occassional customer or phone call here and there. So why not udpate my PTR?

Nothing trip related really. I got an email from Disney shopping about the newest D&B bags. I want the purple one!

Kris's cat knocked chocolate milk on my current bag (ick) so I forwarded the email to him and said maybe his cat could buy me one of those.

Looking through the collection I found a few other things that I liked.

I may have to pick up one of these items while I'm there....

I adore the Disney Dooney and Burke bags-- the pink wristlet is adorable!! The cross body ones (especially purple) are really cute too-- and probably more practical for me, because I don't tend to carry such "Disney" stuff IRL. But I'd totally use that cross body as my park bag!
Also-- yay for being paid off!! You're so close!

That's what I was thinking too, using it as a park bag. I probably would use it when I wasn't on vacation too. I just think it's super cute!

The D&B bags are too cute. We saw the most adorable D&B bags on our Disney cruise this summer. I fell in love!! But, I was scared I would only use it at Disney. I love the Princess D&B bag!! Love love love! The wristlets are adorable too.

If only they weren't so expensive.. ugh.

EDIT: How could I forget? When I read this, I immediately thought of you!! It's almost official: NKOTB and BSB are touring together.. and they're thinking of bringing back Boyz II Men.. I'm not sure what I think about all of this. But, it certainly will be a Boy Band Dream Tour!

I know!! The price tag is killing me!

I heard all about it yesterday. I'm not thrilled about it but it's an NKOTB concert and I'm sure I will be attending. I don't know if I'll go as crazy as I did on tours past because I honestly don't think I could sit through BSB more than once but...we'll see I guess! Now if it were NSYNC on the other hand...

Could it be? Could I really be going to Florida twice in the same month? It very well could be true!

I could be going back to Florida for work! Anheuser Busch has announced their fam dates for tours of all 3 Sea World parks plus Busch Gardens Tampa and I applied today!!! I would be going right back to Orlando two weeks after I come back from my Disney trip. I have to wait and see if I get approved but fingers crossed I do!

I'm so excited!!

That would be so exciting!! I've been to both the San Antonio and Orlando SW! They're really underrated-- so beautiful and well-themed. Orlando is the better of the two, but they're both great. I'm sure San Diego is nice, too. I hope you get it!!

Thanks! I've been to SW Orlando twice but never to Aquatica or Discovery Cove and this trip would include those parks as well. I really hope I get accepted!

Ok I admit it - I did not read through your whole PTR (sorry!) but i was just too excited to tell you that we share the SAME birthday - and not just the same day, but I'm also turning 28 this year, AND AT WDW!! We'll be at AKV Sep 30th, and then BCV Oct 1-10!! So excited. Looks like you have a great trip planned!

Thanks!! It's just DH and I (no kids yet!) but the pool is going to be very tempting anyway. Enjoy SSR - I'd like to eventually buy DVC and SSR is on par with AKV for where I'd like to buy (but I've never stayed there). What are your travel dates? (Oh - maybe I should promise to go read through the previous 20 or so pages...maybe that'll give me something to do at work Monday hehe)

Let's see...for my birthday I plan to be at MK and use our GAD FP vouchers so that will be fun! CRT for lunch, and not exactly sure of my dinner plans yet. V&A is on the table but SO $$$. Can't get Cali Grill, even though I originally had the ADR but then cancelled it, so that makes me upset. Maybe Artist Point, Narcoossees? IDK. I think i'm putting too much stock in my bday dinner. We're doing the DxDP (for the 1st time) so we're going to have SO many meals, that this one *needs* to stand out (no, not really) but I feel weird plonking down a could hundred extra for V&A after paying for the DxDP you know! So...after that long winded explanation I'm hoping to get a CA Grill ADR the day before if anyone cancels.

We actually switched up our plans. We were all going to stay at SSR with my TA discount but then they extended Free Dining so we switched to Pop Century. I'd rather have free dining than a luxury resort and if we stayed in the 2 BR Villa as planned, it would've cost a small fortune!

We'll be there 10/4-10/9. We're planning a day to visit Universal because I definitely want to check out Harry Potter. Looks awesome! We may do Halloween Horror Nights or MNSSHP too, haven't decided yet. Other than Ohana's, we'll be going to Chef Mickey's, Biergarten, and Sci Fi. I'm really looking forward to the F&W Festival too!

We didn't get to do GAD. It was over so quickly!!

I love, love, love them! They're super cute and I love how colorful they are. If I have extra money to spend (fingers crossed!) I'll splurge on one for myself while we're there.

You could always do what I did and spend your money on real exclusive stuff and then buy the bags when you get home!! Then you still get them, can check them out in person to make sure which one you want, and not spend "Disney money" on it!

Ahhh I'm such a dolt. Okay I read through almost everything, and now see you'll be at the POP w/ free dining - sweet deal!! Glad to hear you're able to take advantage of the FD promotion. F&W should be awesome, and one thing I'm most excited about is La Cava del Tequila - that margarita flight sounds great! We're also doing a couple days for WWoHP but it doesn't look like ANY of our days match up/. If you were going to MK on our birthday I'd offer to share our GAD FP. But it sounds like you'll really need a sleep in morning after your late MK night the night before!

The Universal HHN sounds like SO much fun, but I just don't think we can fit it in. Never done it though, so it's still in the back of my mind as there's a few nights that it's going on when we're there.

BTW I think it's SO awesome you're a travel agent! That'd be such a fun job. Do you get to travel a lot ? I have SO Many trips planned out (just for us). We took a huge trip to Italy in April, so one trip down - like a million to go.

Anyway have fun planning, I'll try to finish up you PTR tomorrow. Cute purse BTW!

I can't wait for the F&W festival! I went last year and loved it and am planning on spending even more time there this year. I think the people I'm traveling with will really enjoy it. I'm hoping I can get my boyfriend to try and eat some new foods. He lives off cheeseburgers and chicken fingers!

I think the HHN is going to be a last minute decision. It's only $35 if you already have a ticket to the park and since we all seem like we want to do US as well as IOA, I think we may opt for the party instead of a 2 park ticket. Works out to be less expensive that way and most of the major attractions are open during HHN as far as I can tell.

Stinks that our days don't match up but maybe we'll see each other around! Are you doing the lime green mickey heads? I was thinking about it, making a pin out of it or something to stick on my bag.

I really like my job! We get a lot of awesome perks and it's fun helping other people plan their trips (especially Disney!)

I hope so too! Fingers crossed! Registration ends Sept 1 and I think it's on a first come, first serve basis so hopefully I got my form in quick enough. Hoping to hear back soon!

I had his party at my house last year and it just isnt going to work again this year...so its either I spend 300-400 on a bday party venue...or a little bit more and go to Disney. I vote Disney...now I just have to convince his dad
