I know this has been asked before but here goes!
How much spending Money for 2 adults a kids?
2 years ago we allowed $300 a day and we were fine (Brought nearly $1000 home!!) Thats with counter service food mainly and Brekkie off site
All tickets paid for before we go
So any advice? has the cost of living doubled over there or anything?!!
Thanks

We spent about £1700 on food/gifts/parking/petrol etc in July between 2 adults and two sons (16 and 14). £800 TC, £100 Dollars and rest on the cc.

How long is a piece of string? It really depends what you plan on doing and spending. As a very rough guide, we assume we'll spend around £1500 for DH and myself, 2 1/2 weeks PLUS we'll charge most table service meals and then pay with a CC. We actually don't take an awful lot of money - around $1000 - just use the ATM's if we need extra cash - they're free with our HSBC a/c.

We took $1500 in cash/TC for 3 weeks for 2 adults and 2 kids this July. That more than paid for meals, parking, groceries etc. Anything else went on the CC.

For our forthcoming trip we are taking around £3000. Thats for 3 weeks and is for myself, DH and DD.

We have brought most of our tickets (only need to buy Gatorland and Kennedy but these are weather permitting).

I think that its always better to take extra money but never take more than you can afford to spend. Just try not to waste money on silly things.

In case of emergency we always take a empty credit card with us just in case.

However much spending money you take you will have a fantastic time.
