Ok, so as i've said in previous posts we're off to DLP in late November, we aren;t new to the place but on previous trips have stuck to counter service for our meals

This time we plan on putting more thought into where we eat and enjoying that side of DLP more, so, our question is, will 900-1000Euros be enough for us to do this and buy some disney stuff to bring home?

We are a family of 4 (2 adults, DS 4 and DS 2)

You have probably already done so, but check out the menus on magical kingdoms and dlpfoodguide (lots of these updated in the past few weeks) to get an idea of prices at the restaurants you would like to go to.
We have chosen all our eating spots and worked out a rough budget based on the prices on the menu, I have booked our main meals as well because i like to have everything organised!
You might not want to pick each restaurant in advance but it does help greatly in establishing your budget.
Which restaurants are you thinking of going to?

If you choose buffet restaurants your youngest DS will eat for free (Restaurant des Stars, Plaza Gardens, Agrabah, Inventions etc) This would mean you'd be eating well but saving money at the same time. In other restaurants DS could eat off your plate as hes under 3.

I think your budget will be more than enough.

We aren't really huge eaters (except for DS 2 who can out eat us all)!!

We were thinking we'd like to do annettes one night, and cafe mickey, we've heard good things about res des stars but were unsure if that would work as we don;t like to eat too early?

Annette's is actually great value, the portions are huge and it's not too expensive. And very tasty!
Cafe Mickey isn't too expensive either considering how good the character experience is. Your budget should certainly be enough, I would think.

Just to give you an idea we are a family of 5 (all over 3!) and in August went to Inventions, Auberge de cendrillon, Buffalo Bills, Cafe Mickey and Pizza Bella Notte. We also spent around 150 e on souvenirs and it came to about 850 euros, plus tips of 10e each main restaurant.

In terms of our budget, we are three adults going for 5 nights and have planned the following for food:
Blue Lagoon
Walts
Steakhouse
Cafe Mickey
Lucky Nugget
Annette's

Plus snacks on the go in the parks, we estimate around 500 euros for food (this includes shareholders discount but doesn't account for any alcohol we might want )

Hope that helps! I'm in planning mode today, just phoned and booked our restaurants and am now preparing itinerary to email to the others. Not that they'll read it. lol.
