out of curiosity how much dollars does everyone usually take for spending
we are in the middle of getting everything together.
our tickets are here and paid for same as mvmcp tickets
we have 3000 dollars so far.
we will be staying for 16 nights..

Me and the bf are aiming at £1000 bare minimum.. We're going for 2 weeks and will have DDP (free or otherwise) for one week so it's mostly for food in the first week and some 'emergency money' We'll probably do a budget per day and any extra from that we can use for souvenirs. Also will be bringing our own money each for any other souvenirs, shopping etc. The amount of that will depend on what we manage to save. Hopefully around £500 each though.

We budget for around £1000/week,this covers food & shopping.On our last trip we took £4000 for 3 weeks & even going mad at the outlets,brought a load back.A lot of your spending money is taken up on food & obviously if you can stand fastfood for 16 days then you won't need as much but we like to try different places some costing more than others.Also you need to factor in tips,the average now is 15-20%,so it does mount up over 16 days.

i have $5000 for 2 adults 2 children and infant. we have already brought passes so that is for food, shops, shops, and shops. oh and fuel....

as above we eat at different resturants most night. which can take up extra money. if you aim for fast food and buffet style then price halfs...

I`m taking $1000 for 14 days, we have free dining and all tickets are paid for, so that should be plenty. With a bit of luck DD will take some money as well.
We plan to go shopping but I`m a hopeless shopper - I can never find anything I really want!

I wasn't aware that they were doing the free dining this year? I know they did it last year to get the No.s back up but as the No.s are up this year they really shouldn't need to. As i understand it,assuming that you already have your WDW passes,you will need to buy a minimum of a 1 day MYW for each of your party to book the DDP.The DDP is designed to be booked as part of a package- WDW's Uk site are quoting £19.99 per adult per day (over 10) & £6.99 your children

We took about £1500 last year for 15 nights onsite, we already had our passes so that was just for food and souvenirs etc. We did loads of shopping and had some great meals and we still came back with about £150!

I am currently trying to work out how much spending money we are going to take... we have free dining for the first week so hoping to spend very little that week! I am hoping to have about £1000 for 2 weeks, 2 adults. We have most tickets, but do need Universal's HHN and Disney water park tix to come out of this! Hope this will be enough!
