spending hte day at the FORT

we are taking a trip in may and have reservations for HDDR on wed may 23rd. I thought we weould make a day of it and stay at the fort. this is my plan, please tellk me if we are missing anything we really hsould do or if i am crazy in some way. it will be dh and i and our 4 year old girls.

I figured we would arrive after lunch(1-2ish). I want to canoe, let the girls ride the ponies and walk around Tri circle D.
5Pm HDDR
7 PM horse drawn carriage ride
8 PM campfire sing along
then i figured we would head the to the beach for EWP and wishes.

opinions please?

Sounds fun to me...perhaps a little busy in the evening with 4 year olds, but you know your kids best.

Be careful, you may just get a rate for the Fort and find yourself returning DH and I spent an afternoon renting bikes and a canoe several years ago, and now this is our third stay here!

I hear you ...I'm the first one to turn into a pumpkin in our family, and DS is last!

There's shuffleboard at the Meadows Recreation Area and they usually have a couple of kids activities during the day, plus playgrounds. You can play checkers on the Trail's End porch and there's an arcade too.

There are some nice kids playgrounds in front of 1200/1300 loops, 300 loop by the dog park, and between Pioneer Hall and the the beach/marina.

Sounds like a plan!
