Glad to hear that everyone is okay. Your DS cracks me up! It sounds like you a have some wonderful kids BAMB. I wish I will be that lucky when I have kids!

your kids will be great! My kids drive each other nuts some times but they really come together when needed. He was too cute! I had to keep reining him in, every time we turned away from him, he went after the other guy.

Buffy, sorry to hear about the car accident, glad everyones OK. I think that as long as you stay out of a craft store you are doing good!

Oh and take the DVC tour when you go. They pick you up at your resort, if your staying on property in your own van. They don't take much time and after you get ice cream sundaes, pictures taken and cards with 3 anytime FP on it. We did it when we were there in July and now we are DVC members! They even have a childrens area that they can stay at when you and DH talk to the vacation guide. Than you can all tour the models if you like. It was fun. It was about an hour and a half.

we are looking at AKV. We stayed there on our very first trip and loved it!!! It is such a beautiful facility. We are the same, DH wants to join but money wise I'm like no because it would make $$ tight.

You will love the villas at the AKL! We looked at the models for AKL that they have built over at Saratoga Springs. They are beautiful, and have a lot of great features that the other resorts don't have...such as a second bathroom in a one bedroom villa. That would have really come in handy with my group (especially when they were in their teen years). They also have nice flat screen tvs, and there was something else that I loved about the units but I can't think of what it is right now...but I was definitely imporessed. Yes, I always said no to purchasing DVC due to the money too, and in our case, I was glad that we waited (we are self-employed and this was in the early years of owning our businesses, so we had no way to predict how things would be moneywise in the future). We now feel like it was one of the best things that we ever did. We go a lot more often (we are only a 6 hour drive away, so it isn't uncommon for us to go 2 or 3 times a year, and we buy annual passes, so it is almost like a free trip...well, at least that is what we keep telling ourselves). LOL! I hope you decide to join, you will love it!

I print my photos at Snapfish and they're great. It totally doesn't count as an expense, IMO. When I first started ordering them, I ordered from Kodak and Snapfish and Walgreens. Snapfish had the best color, I thought, and a good price.

We're DVC too. Totally take the tour. We bought from the Timshare Store though because we needed less points. Plus, I was feeling cheap and wanted to try it out with less points first. Which now sounds so wierd but at the time made sense to me, somehow. LOL Anyway, I put it on a credit card I had opened for the purpose that gave me a year and a half no interest. That helped push me over to the let's do it side of things.

We'll be there for some of the days that you will be there. We are arriving on the 20th of Dec. (but will probably actually get there on the 19th) and leaving on the 23rd. We're staying at Old Key West. I would love to be there for Christmas Day, but unfortunately that would mean that my mother would be totally alone for the holiday.

Okay I was not on a spending freeze, but all I have to say is I better get a lot of scrapping done over the rest of the summer. I just spent almost 70.00 developing almost every photo I have taken since Jan. 01, 07 (a few I printed right away etc) and 52 for a specific album I need to finish by October. Hmm..... why can't I ever get the hubby to buy the photos
