I am taking my three year old ( soon to be four ) daughter to WDW and her birthday will be during our trip- We are having her party with her friends before we leave-- what things can we expect or "hope" to happen while were are in the park or eating at our two PS at Chef Mickey's and the Crystal Palace? I certainly am not getting hopes up-- just wondered what things have occurred in the past for other people? Thanks.::MinnieMo princess: ::MickeyMo

My we took my son at the begining of this month for his 4th birthday. My friend made him a Happy Birthday shirt with his name on it, so everyone gave him attention. We did a character breakfast and pluto brought him cake with a candle and the whole restaurant sang (Baskervilles at the Grosvenor). Mickey had everyone sing to him in the Judges tent and all the other characters we say made a fuss over him. Other than that lots of people told him happy birthday.

Don't forget to get your birthday button from City Hall. That gets lots of attention as well.

Here are a few pics of him with his shirt and the characters.

On my 33nd birthday, I got my button and everyone seemed to be on the lookout for it. Every line attendant commented. Also, I got a free dessert and a frisbee from Sci-fi cafe. We also had special service for our anniversary, including balloons and cake at the Polynesian.

I also got a special phone message from Goofy!

CheekyMonkeysDad,

Where did you get your button, please?

Thanks!

If you're staying on property, you could ask at the front desk fir a birthday card from Mickey. We've done this, and found it slipped under our door. It's a great surprise for the birthday person.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. I put together a basket with coloring books, mickey gummies, a light chaser, glow sticks, etc. and I printed a card online from Mickey. I put it in the basket and the basket in the room waiting for him. I had planned on decorating the room wiht a banner, streamers and balloons,b ut didnt' have time. I also printed a goofy card and at the character breakfast asked if goofy and pluto would sign it and give it to him. They did when when they brought him birthday cake.
