The Disneyland shows going to video would be fantastic! I really want to listen to the DL show but much prefer the video format
Doubt this. The DL team isn't even in the same building when those shows are recorded. The live in some pretty far flung parts of CA and have different careers so I don't see them deciding to find a common meeting point. The only other things I can vaguely remember being talked about is disneyland edition going video (would make sense for a sunday taping, monday airing) and there is a whole lot of videos popping up on youtube from that team..
Totally agree, and personally been expecting to hear that for a LONG time. Especially since Craig's now the producer, has been working with Michael on Connecting with Walt anyway, and "the annoucement" was made around the same time he was talking about Craig, I believe. The Disneyland shows going to video would be fantastic! I'm really thinking this isn't regarding a video show for the Disneyland edition but rather something regarding the Orlando shows. It's not that hard to do broadcasts with remotes included so it's absolutely possible and would open up shows that include anyone from either team as well as guests. i'm 90% sure it was once mentioned they were at least looking into it however the noon eastern time doesn't make sense for a west coast based show. Now, Pete didn't say noon on the 4th would be a normal time slot, just when to expect something new. I can see episode 1 in video being pre-recorded before going back to west coast friendly timeslot to be live the following week.
I'm guessing that the Orlando shows will now be in 3D.
Doing an audio podcast from various locations wouldn't be that much different than doing a video one, as mentioned by:Doubt this. I know this probably isn't what they're planning, but ... would they be able to do a video version of the DL show as a Google Hangout? The only equipment they would need is webcams (which some people may already have), and they don't need to try to find any central location, they can each join in from whatever location they choose.
I'm far from tech savvy in this department, but figured there'd be a way to do it.It's not that hard to do broadcasts with remotes included so it's absolutely possible and would open up shows that include anyone from either team as well as guests. i'm 90% sure it was once mentioned they were at least looking into it however the noon eastern time doesn't make sense for a west coast based show. Aroma-vision.
Pete: cola and vanilla, maybe with a hint of coffeeWell, NOW you've done it. Here come all the "WHAT SCENT WOULD EACH PODCASTER BE???" posts.
I'm not mad Llama, I'm just disappointed.I'm not touching this one.
And for me, that's saying something.
(Edit: of the options listed here, which Kevin pointed out, we are all so far from guessing correctly)
I figured you would pick the silliest item mentioned and comment on it.
Maybe I'm just throwing you off track.
Ohh. I can smell it now! The DIS will be sending out scratch and sniff cards to enhance your podcast listening experience.Aroma-vision.
