Speculation on crowds right after MLK Monday?

We are taking a Disney/US trip January 14th - 23rd. We plan on going to US/IOA on Tuesday, Wednesday and part of Thursday after MLK Monday (January 18th-20th). Do you think any MLK crowds will have died down by then? We aren't staying onsite so we can't get in early. Any suggestions on the best time to arrive (our first interest is Harry Potter World)?
