Spectrum Moms Take on The World! Our Last Day...Multiple Posts!

Kathy ~ YAY on getting the DME info!! Can't wait to see that in my mailbox. Also exciting about your new venture. I've bookmarked the site to check it out.

Heidi ~ wow, your list looks great! I have to say I think I'll be following along with Kathy and winging it this time.

Amy ~ have fun tubing!

Tracy ~ haven't used that kind of iron on before but it does look similar to what I used once for colored shirts. They did look fine after washing but I didn't do it until after our trip because I was afraid I'd ruin it.

Not much to report tripwise on my front. Had a busy few days and am hoping to get back on track tomorrow.

Kathy definitely took note of your blog! Will definitely be visiting!! Your new series of articles are going to be awesome to read!!

Your countdown ladies keeps shrinking and shrinking..how exciting for you!!!

I'm almost two weeks away and I still feel like I have so much to do LOL!!! I might have to copy Heidi's list LOL!!!!

@ Tracy- I was going to say the same thing that your transfer looks like the dark shirt type. It looks like it fused really well....if so I think I would hand wash it and line dry it to "soften" it up. Your Minnie bow looks red....mine's pink. :confused3

Well I'm dragging out the suitcase today because I can't stand all the piles of stuff I have all over my dining room.

First up are two pictures of my little photo book with all our touring cards (thanks to Heidi) and some other necessary information

I LOVED looking at all the items you all have packed. I forget who packed the red toy story shirt, I almost bought that, still thinking about getting it. And whoever has the green shirt with tink on it, I have that too:) but not bringing it on this trip (it's very worn, lol), looks like several of us have the tink tiara- will be interesting to see which one everyone ends up wearing.

Love the new hairdo Tracy.:thumbsup2
@ Kathy: going to check out the blog after this posts

I can't wait, we are so close, will be back tomorrow to post my food picture;)

I am here, just haven't been posting. Bill and I have been sick and I haven't been able to do much of anything :sad2:. It is hard to get me well when I need to take care of him.

I hope you all have a wonderfully magical trip.

I agree about the bow... Tracy yours looks red! Julie & Anne Marie's look pretty dark too... mine is definitely pink. Actually after washing it, it looks light pink. I picked up another t-shirt at Kohl's today for $7.99 for another re-do. :headache:

Jess - Is the bow red or pink?? :confused3

Jess - Your packing looks great!! You have some really cute stuff. I think the red shirt was Tracy - I almost bought that one recently too!

Just checking in here to wish all you girls a magical trip.

Thank you!!!

Thank you!!!

Thanks, I loved the after Christmas sales this year. I thought it was Tracy's, but was on a different computer and just winged it after reading it on my computer:confused3 It's really a fitting Mom shirt when you have boys I think, which is why I went back to it several times but left the store without it.:upsidedow Who knows I might impulsively return to get it this week, have been trying to control my spending (I keep telling myself I might like something better in Florida) Your bags are super cute, I was very jealous looking over all you seasoned travelers Disney items.

Heidi...good looking DONE list...of course I have thought of a bunch of other little things to do for the trip

Jess....love your little travel book! :thumbsup2 and fun packing pictures...

Amy...thanks for keeping the countdown moving along...hope you had fun snow tubing

Tracy...the shirt looks fine especially the front it kooks sharp :thumbsup2

Anne Marie I'm w/ you on not getting much trip stuff done...but I did take down ALL my Christmas decor today minus the dining room table and stuff on top of the bookshelf in my living room....you SAW how much I had...ugh exhuasted..but it's done ;)

So what can I share packing wise....

my surprises are almost done :cool1:

added a few more things to my bag...4 trading pins from Nathan to trade, extra pin backs, emergency items like safety pins and rubber bands...you never know :confused3, I have just about all my little tolietries packed including a few things just for Thurs morning...I duplicated some things so I don't have to unpack everything at my parents, been checking the weather ALOT...sound like Amy, huh?...JK ...decided that I MOST definetly need a new WDW sweatshirt...it sadly shrunk after my last washing...even Matt agrees so :woohoo: I'm in the clear for that purchase, I also decided on my outer wear for the trip...I am borrowing a zip up fleece from my sil, plus I'll have my NEW sweathsirt...based on the trend of daily lows lately...the overnight lows aren't going past 40 degrees that is still 20 degrees warmer than it's here....so I'm banking on that w/ a light weight seater and layers I should be fine...what are you are doing???

well I think that's it till tomorrow

J~

Jess we have the same puff but mine is white and i have to have those Perry band-aids! We love Perry in my house!!!

@ Julie I'm not worrying about the winter. Call it denial but I refuse to think about anything but sunny and in the 70's.

What did I get done??? I think my instructions for home are pretty much done. I've printed them out but might have a few last minute updates. I bought that new shirt at Kohl's & printed out the transfers again. Washing the new shirt now so I haven't ironed on yet. I also bought what I need for my special treat tomorrow. I've been working on another little project too. ;) And that's about it... Oh and I've been checking the weather too. :rolleyes1

I know it's early and I'm sure it will change, but according to Accuweather here's what we can expect:

Thursday 1/20: Mostly cloudy, high 64, low 50
Friday 1/21: Rain at times, high 71, low 52 :umbrella:
Saturday 1/22: Sun & clouds, high 73, low 55 :sunny:
Sunday 1/23: Sunny, high 78, low 53 :sunny:

I can totally handle those temps!! :thumbsup2

Predicted weather for southern NH: Lows in the teens & twenties, highs in the twenties! :cold:

Ahhh nice. I can handle those temps too! Hopefully the rain moves away and comes back another day..... ;)

Thanks for the shirt info ladies. I used Alex's printer and the color toner cartridge popped up with a low warning after I printed out the transfers so yes, the colours aren't quite the same. It's OK!

George is doing more work in our basement and we had to clear out for a while so of course, I took the kids up to the Disney Store! I picked up a few more shirts for myself :rolleyes1 (yes the red Toys Just Wanna Have Fun shirt is mine :thumbsup2 ) and a really cool Snow White key chain on clearance.

Then we headed over to Walmart where I picked up a few more toiletry items and a white long sleeved shirt for layering. I was going to do the little photo album too but I forgot to pick one up while I was out today so I think I'm going to join the 'winging it' camp.

Amy, I knew I could count on you for the weather forecast! Looks good... I may have to re-think packing those turtlenecks!

To our loyal readers: sorry for not doing individual responses, but rest assured I've been reading all your comments and delighting in your company! :grouphug:
