Spectrum Moms Take on The World! Our Last Day...Multiple Posts!

LOL, that's funny you have two teams for AK! I love it there. You guys will have a great time. :thumbsup2

Wow! I'm impressed! You guys are so organized, I love your ideas of the spreadsheets and the Teams, genius for a group of 7 wanting to do different things, yet be together. :thumbsup2 Your plans look fantastic!!

And I'm suddenly craving Chinese food.

Love the planning. And here's a vote for Yak & Yeti. We loved it when we went in 2008.

Awesome AK plans! I think it's great that you're sticking together for a lot of things but also have time where you're splitting up! What a great way to make sure everyone in group of 7 gets to enjoy their days to the fullest!

The AK plan looks great Julie! :thumbsup2

I'm undecided about Sunday for now too... I don't think I'll be jumping on the first bus to round the corner but we'll see... :confused3

I'm excited to find Tower of Terror at Epcot for our scavenger hunt!

Anne Marie & I will have to get our butts in gear when I get back from my weekend getaway next weekend and start working on the MK & DHS plans. The bar has been set high! ;)

I have a feeling that I'll be doing up some plans for those two parks too. :rotfl2: Oddly enough, I find it relaxing!

Oh boy...MK will be a toughie too I think since it is split between 2 days and so many choices...I don't know if I finding making up tour plans relaxing...but fun indeed! good thing I have lots of trips to keep creating for :woohoo:

Post some of those spreadsheets! You know DISers love to see stuff like that. :rotfl: I like how there is one to keep track of your emails and communications!!!!

is it wrong that it made me sad that I did pretty well on that quiz?

I don't think so. A lot of us that have been living with someone on the spectrum would do pretty well. Our goal should be to make others aware of the information.

Wow! I didn't do so well... Just means I need to keep learning!

Don't we all...

Great quiz, thanks for sharing Kathy.

You're welcome!

No... don't be sad. You've just been keeping up with the times!

Well-said, Anne Marie!

Knowledge is power!!

I did pretty well on the quiz too, though I have to admit a couple of them were lucky guesses. I suppose being a teacher helped too.

Thanks for the quiz...Great info!

I got 13 out of 20.;) Not sure if that is good or bad, but did learn something new. I guess that is what counts the most.

Your AK day plans look amazing! I love the "nonplan plan". I can't imagine going in anymore without at least a strategy. I'd love to see some of the spreadsheets too. I am a spreadsheet lover. Back when I was teaching, people came to me whenever they wanted spreadsheets or homemade worksheets. Neat columns and boxes make me happy.

I got a 70% on the quiz. I am sure I could have done better 7 years ago, but that was when I was working kids who had ASD every day. Those numbers are really powerful.

is it wrong that it made me sad that I did pretty well on that quiz?

Oh I understand. For me it was the fact that my 13 yr old did almost as well as I did. It was bittersweet. I'm so totally proud but also a little sad.
