Put me in the group that wants Spectro back. We were there the last night it ran at WDW and then the first night for MEP. They both are good parades but we like the music of Spectro better. Hoping that by the end of may they will have made the switch.

we are a MSEP family. however, if they do bring Spectro back, i hope they make some changes to it. i really REALLY hope they get rid of the creepy clown guys.

You do know they already changed the clowns from the ones I remember as a kid. You have the original clown with the glowing face masks and hats and the new clowns with the painted faces and fiber optic hair. I enjoy both Spectromagic and the MSEP. Growing up going to WDW I saw Spectro much more frequently than MSEP.

I am so SO excited and ready for Spectromagic to come back. Our whole family HATES MSEP. We hate it! I love the music of Spectro, the characters, etc.!

For us is the complete opposite! We really really hope Spectro makes a comeback, we never cared for the electrical parade.

Ditto This is my favorite night parade. I for one, cannot wait. Bring Spectromagic back!! Bring it back!!

Actually, Disney World is required to return MSEP to Disneyland sometime within the next year, per the deal they made to get it over there in the first place. So, yes MSEP will return to the Disneyland Resort, which park, who knows? But it will return, there may indeed be some legal issues in brining it back to Disneyland, since they sold bulbs and tickets to the final show at Disneyland, but I am sure Disney would find a way around that.

Disneyland does need something else at night now, given the popularity of Cars Land, there are more people coming to the parks and during Fantasmic! and the Fireworks, times when the lines have typically been short for attractions are now longer than during the day, so they could use one more item to keep people busy at night.

I bought 2 bulbs and attended the "final" show before they had the "encore" performances of MSEP. Obviously nothing is forever at Disney, as it appears that anything can return. If people were going to lose their minds over the parade returning, they would have done so when it went to DCA. The suggestion that people would actually sue Disney over bringing MSEP back to Disneyland is crazy.

I don't recall any special ticketed event for the final MSEP. But I do remember the proceeds from the bulb sales going to charity. Bringing the show back as "new and improved" would squelch any legal issues. Especially since the bulbs on the floats are now LED.
