Spectromagic/Wishes in January?

I am planning a short trip in January with a friend of mine who has never been to the world before. I obviously want her to be able to see as much as possible. I wish we had more time, but this has to be sort of a side trip. Better than nothing I guess.

Anyhow, we will be there on Saturday, Jan. 15th and leaving Sunday the 16th. I checked Disney's calendar, but park hours aren't available yet for January. Does anyone know approximately what times the parks close based on past experience and if Spectromagic and Wishes will run on that Saturday night? If so, about what time? I have never been in January before.

You can use the following link to help you out. You can plug in the dates you will be at the park and it will give you "UNOFFICIAL" Park hours. These "UNOFFICIAL" hours are based on what WDW did in the past.

We went first week of Feb last year and wishes was at 7 or 7:30. I know that it was early.

From my experience which is one time and reading this board for over a year, wishes is every Tues/Sat. We went in
January 2004 and watched Spectro at 7:00 and right after was wishes. Enough time to walk from splash mountain to the Bakery on the Mainstreet. Hope this helps.

We go every January, and I thought they showed the fireworks every night. I cant recall a night that they did not show them in January out of 6 trips. Spectro is usually Saturday night and they were showing it again on Tuesday when we were there this past january. I know LibertyBelle is a CM at MK. Maybe you can ask him.

yes your right a spelling error, wishes is every night but spectro parade is every Sat/Tues.
