SpectroMagic on Labor Day?

I'm trying to plan my Labor Day weekend trip.
I'd love to do MK on Monday-- Labor Day. I just think that will be the least busiest day for that park.
Does anyone know if SpectroMagic ran last Labor Day? It is running Saturday and Sunday of that weekend, but Spetember hours are not yet up.

You would think that it would be but sorry to say .... if the past two years is a trend ... no spectro on Labor Day :-( We found the park to be very crowded the Sat / Sun night before because of this.

I think this is because park attendance drops dramatically on this day. Everyone is going home because if they are not already in school it will start on Tuesday!

We were in WDW for the week of Labor Day in 2000 and the evening parade (I think it was Main Street Electrical Parade then) did not run on Labor Day. I would expect that to be true this year (we are going back that same time this year).

In 2001, Spectro was scheduled for the Saturday and Sunday nights. In the end, they cancelled Saturday's parade due to a thunderstorm, so the crowds on the Sunday were huge and leaving the park was a bit of a nightmare.

Now, I would go for the Saturday if the weather's OK - since Sunday is now EMH day.

Yes Pigby!! I remember that! We were on the monorail Saturday evening and there was this mass exodus from the park that we were watching!

You know we met someone on the bus the next day who said that they did end up running the parade later that night. I don't know if it's true or not.

I remember Sunday evening --- we walked into MK ... walked up to Tommorrowland and turned around and went to Epcot!

I have NEVER seen Spectromagic so I really want to this year. I'm debating between Saturday or Sunday.
