Hi,

Does anyone have any educated guesses on what nights SpectroMagic will happen in early December? The schedule won't be released until right around the time I have to make my dining reservations, if not after. I'd rather plan around an educated guess than my own shot in the dark.

Thanks!! :)

Hi,

I'm afraid you're going to have to wait until the December hours are posted next month (and even then park hours can---and often do---change in between the day they are first posted and the day you arrive at WDW).

But if you want to try your hand at guessing, here is a link to the December 2007 hours:

I think I saw it posted on the "Rumors" page that Spectromagic is being discontinued, maybe in the fall.

Not sure where you saw that; I haven't seen it or heard of it. But let's just make sure we are clear. This is a RUMOR.

Park hours are usually released 6 months in advance. If this pattern continues, Disney will release December park hours in June. Disney always adds the disclaimer that park hours are subject to change, but at least you'll have a very good idea of when Spectromagic will be showing during your stay.

We do know this much for a fact. Spectromagic will NOT be shown on any nights there is a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The Magic Kingdom will close earlier on those nights.

Traditionally it is shown on Mondays and Wednesday and on Saturday if there is no party.

That's the plan I'm going with.

Have a great trip!!

Don't feel bad....you aren't the only one who has done this:guilty:

I think in my family's case it's that we LOVE Spectro so much that we are willing to stand out in a monsoon, hoping and praying Pixie Dust will fly and the clouds will part..............
