Spectromagic and Wishes Dessert Party?

How is the view of Spectromagic from the party? Spectro is a favorite of mine and it is only showing one time during our next trip due to Night of Joy and MNSSHP and this is also our only night we could go to the Dessert Party.

Also is there any discount for AP or Disney VISA holders for the party?

I thought the view was non-existant in my opinion (been twice - both times could only see tops of floats).

I do not believe there is a discount at this time for AP or Visa holders, but since I have neither, hopefully someone can confirm this for you.
