Hi guys - I just read that May hours are being extended on certains days and that Spectro IS gonna run in early May SO . . . here's a ? for Spectro veterans. Where's the best spot to see it? In all the years I've been going to WDW, I've NEVER seen the electrical parades and now I want to get up close and personal!! Thanks in advance.

...but ANYWHERE on the parade route will be best, as long as you scope out a spot, and then, plop right down and sit....your going to want to be at your spot at least an hour beforehand....one of the more interesting spots I found on our last trip was across from the walkway in frontierland that leads to Splash Mtn.The reason I say this is, as the parade route ended, Fantasy In The Sky started, and we had a totally unobstructed view of the fireworks.
The one thing though, no matter where you sit, you'll no doubt hit those that want to see the parades a bit more than you, who didnt want to wait it out.....dont let it get to you...just remember to keep being persistant and the rude ones will move on.

Fantastic - that is JUST the kind of advice I'd hoped to get - this way we don't have to scramble after the parade to get a good fireworks view - 2 birds with 1 stone! Thanks!

Another place is the Sleepy Hollow snack stand at the Liberty Square bridge. When I went, I got a seat right up next to the wall about 1/2 hour beforehand. After the parade, there's a little path into Fantasyland, which to me is the best place to watch the fireworks from. If you grab a spot near 20,000 leagues lagoon, you can watch Tinkerbelle climb out from the Castle to begin her flight.

we sat on a bench near the entrance to the railroad in the front of the park. You go under the passway and across the street there was a couple of benches. We had eaten dinner at the Poly and then went to MK and saw the second showing of the parade. It started at a side alley not too far from where we were sitting. It was great, we did not have anyone in front of us either. We did not see the fireworks though because we knew we would be seeing them for the MVMCP later in the week.
It was really good because since the parade started there, once it was over we made a bee line for the exit, ahead of most of the crowds.

We like to sit on the circle in front of the castle. While waiting the castle turns colors and it's pretty.

We sit between the popcorn wagon and the walkway to Tomorrow Land.

Then we can see Tink Fly over head just before the fireworks.

:D

Right in front of the shooting arcade in Frontierland. We grabbed a seat in one of the tree planters and my son and I spent the time playing checkers. This was also a great spot for character interaction.
