Spectro....more often in early May than late August???

I was thinking about future trips to WDW and wondered about the Spectro parade. Late August or early Sept. seem to be great crowdwise, but when we were there in Sept., the night parade was only once a week. That makes for a VERY crowded MK at night.

Is the first half of May any better as far as how often they run the night parade? If there isn't much difference, I'd probably go for the lighter crowds of late August/Sept.

We were there the second week in May. It ran on Saturday and Tuesday nights. We went to MK on Tuesday, it was very crowded. I would go to another park that day and just go for Spectro at night. Sometimes it is pre-empted in late April/early May due to Grad Nights on Fridays & Saturdays.
