Spectro during the week? Crowds?

We are taking my nieces, ages 12,13 and 13 to the World for the first time for all 3 of them. We are DVC. We want to take them to Spectro and will be there for a Sat and Tues showing in October, are the crowds much smaller on Tues or a midweek show? How early and where would you stake out a spot?
We also have a 1yr old and she will really enjoy it this time!

If you are trying to decide which night to go, I would go on Tuesday. We were there on a Saturday night a couple years ago & it was crazy crowded during/after the parade.

I've found that the park is much more crowded during the day when Spectro is showing that night. We went on a Tuesday in May with Spectro running that night and MK was the most crowded I have ever seen it. Around noon the lines were huge. We returned on Thursday and lines were low (no Spectro that night). I would go somewhere else during the day and just go to MK at night for Spectro. If you want a curb spot, I would get there 2 hours before.
