Can anyone tell me what spectromagic is at Magic Kingdom

I am going in January and I see th only night that they have it is Tuesday

It is the most magical evening parade (all lit up ) that you have ever seen. My favorite.

It was really spectacular. We loved it but we were in the back. You should really try and line up early. Too many folks standing in front while their children sat in front of them.

Image oversized windup cars running around, covered in enough lights to look like the time square new yrs eve ball. Add in characters and music and Disney Magic. It is the BEST!

But yes, plan on arriving 1 hr early.. tips.. get the kids an ice-cream and take em to the potty 1st. then find your spot and you are good to go. Personally.. I sit with my DD in my lap at parades. I rather be right there seeing her face.. plus I am a shorty (5'0'') anyway.

This is a MUST SEE parade. only 1 night the whole trip? I need to check the week I am going. I have it on my schedule for our 1st MK day, but is that the only night?

we were riding Dumbo at 7:45pm, ran over and jumped on the Carousel a few minutes later, strolled through the castle, and WHAMMO - the MOST Beautiful Parade EVER!! We had no idea...we just thought that everyone was leaving the Park early - to beat the crowds!!LOL

There were hardly any people right where we were..we even left the kids in their strollers....what a magical evening!! LUCKY, but magical!!

We also happened upon it somewhat by accident during out last trip.... but it was at the TOP of the MUST SEE list for the upcoming trip!! In fact, we had to re-arrange a "dine with Shamu" at SW and a few other things in order to be at the MK for it.... but I'm sure it will be worth it (now pray for no rain!).....P
