Spectacular Star Wars September Exercise Challenge

Trivia Answer: R2-D2's name reportedly came from an experience George Lucas had while editing American Graffiti. The sound editor asked for "Reel 2, Dialogue Track 2," abbreviated R2D2. Lucas thought it was a great name and remembered it for Star Wars.

Just saw this earlier today! I remembered Reel 2 but could not remember what the D was for!
ooh!!! That plane is cool!

And just a side note -- I went back and checked, and we have had at least one color change every single day this month! Amazing!
Wow! That's great!

39 minutes for a 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, a little disappointed with my time, but my goal was more experience in a crowded race - which went well, also my work paid for registration.
28 minutes yesterday core/arms/ and much needed stretching.
40 minutes today - core/legs(26) & yoga(14)

And the :rainbow: streak remains unbroken!

CruisingKate made a long jump into Han Solo Purple

and

LizardQueen8 sprinted into Jedi Master Yoda WISH Green :yoda:!!

Congratulations!!

Also, :bday: today to Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano (Anakin Skywalker's padawan) in the animated film and TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the more recent TV series Star Wars: Rebels. Ashley's favorite place is WDW (she was married to baseball player David Eckstein there), and she is a frequent celebrity guest at Star Wars Weekends. She is also the founder of Her Universe, which sells a line of clothes and accessories for female sci-fi fans, particularly fangirls of Star Wars, Marvel, Doctor Who, and Star Trek.

Minutes to Team Princess Leia Pink = 747. Can we make it by tomorrow night's update??

Little hiccup here for me. I have an essentially lifelong history of heart palpitations and a heart murmur. Doctors have always said it was benign, and go about my life ignoring it essentially. For the last week though the frequency and intensity of the palpitations have increased substantially. Doctors do not think it is serious, perhaps just me being overtired, ramping up my training a little suddenly, and maybe a little dehydrated. But to be cautious, because no one has ever really looked for a cause of the murmur or determined what type it is, I will be getting an Echocardiogram and wearing a hotter monitor for a few days, but that has to be set up by the cardiac dept, so I am not sure when it will happen.

So, yesterday and today I am taking it easy. I am hydrating up a storm, and trying to get more rest. I am free to run easy and close to home tomorrow. If that goes ok for me, I can resume normal activity and just listen to my body. So, no minutes for me yesterday or today! Sorry! I will be back tomorrow though!

@DVCFan1994 Rest up and do whatever you need to stay healthy. I am praying for you that everything is turns out positively!
@DVCFan1994, sending you pixiedust:. Take care of yourself; I hope things go well!

@DVCFan1994 Thinking of you, prayers up. My sister had the surgery, just to snip, all was fine after that.

Tues. 40 min.
Hope everything goes well @DVCFan1994 Taking it easy sounds like the best thing to do. pixiedust:
Keeping my fingers crossed for you @DVCFan1994! :flower3:

Aw, thanks everyone. I am pretty sure its nothing to worry about, just one of those things. But the big 4-0 is approaching quick :duck: so I guess I need to start paying attention to these things. I will be happy to confirm its just a weird blip. Got my appointment for the Echo and Holter monitor tomorrow. I'm glad it didn't take weeks as the doctor feared, I lucked into a cancellation. It is right at the time I normally run, and the rest of my day is pretty busy, so I think I will just be waiting until the Holter is done (48 hours) to exercise. Seems like 2 extra days off will be ok training wise, and running with it on seems like a hassle.

Hope everyone is getting their minutes in!

I've had both of these done in the past also and it might be best to continue on as normal. For my holter monitor they had me exercise as normal and note when I did that. Then they can determine when the palpitations are occurring and narrow down what they may be caused by.

Good luck with these and fingers crossed it is nothing to worry about! I was told mine was nothing serious and I could either have an ablation procedure or just live with it. I've lived with it for over 10 years since diagnosis and it's never been as bad as it was back then. I think stress was a big contributor for mine.

40 minute walk today. I went to new place that I didn't even know about. Sad thing is, it's only 3-4 miles from my house- how did I not know about this gem!
