Trivia Answer: R2-D2's name reportedly came from an experience George Lucas had while editing American Graffiti. The sound editor asked for "Reel 2, Dialogue Track 2," abbreviated R2D2. Lucas thought it was a great name and remembered it for Star Wars.
Just saw this earlier today! I remembered Reel 2 but could not remember what the D was for!
ooh!!! That plane is cool!
Wow! That's great! And just a side note -- I went back and checked, and we have had at least one color change every single day this month! Amazing!
39 minutes for a 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, a little disappointed with my time, but my goal was more experience in a crowded race - which went well, also my work paid for registration.
28 minutes yesterday core/arms/ and much needed stretching.
40 minutes today - core/legs(26) & yoga(14)
629/1000
streak remains unbroken!
!!
today to Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano (Anakin Skywalker's padawan) in the animated film and TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the more recent TV series Star Wars: Rebels. Ashley's favorite place is WDW (she was married to baseball player David Eckstein there), and she is a frequent celebrity guest at Star Wars Weekends. She is also the founder of Her Universe, which sells a line of clothes and accessories for female sci-fi fans, particularly fangirls of Star Wars, Marvel, Doctor Who, and Star Trek.
. Take care of yourself; I hope things go well!
so I guess I need to start paying attention to these things. I will be happy to confirm its just a weird blip. Got my appointment for the Echo and Holter monitor tomorrow. I'm glad it didn't take weeks as the doctor feared, I lucked into a cancellation. It is right at the time I normally run, and the rest of my day is pretty busy, so I think I will just be waiting until the Holter is done (48 hours) to exercise. Seems like 2 extra days off will be ok training wise, and running with it on seems like a hassle.
