1. Internet Access available in the room? If so, is it wireless or wired ethernet? Or do you subscribe daily thru the TV & a keyboard?

2. Where is the Loews check-in line located? We waited 50+ minutes in the regular line the last time we checked in & I am hoping I can avoid that this time.

Thanks for the toiletry info on another person's post - I'm not even going to pack shampoo or soap for this trip. Less stuff to carry as long as the hotel will supply it.

RPR has ethernet high speed internet access for $9.95/day. The Loews First check-in line is at the far right end of the front desk.

Just walk past all the check-in lines and you should see a sign that says something like "Loews Express Check-in" I can't remember the exact wording. The last two check-in windows are for Loews members.

About the internet - I'd check with your internet provider and see if they have "Backup Dial-Up Numbers". For example, I have Bellsouth Fastaccess DSL and they have backup dial-up numbers os when I go out of town I use those numbers so I don't have to pay for internet access.

mine does have back-up dial-up. They just have about 43 numbers for Orlando!!!! Have to figure out what is 'local' from that hotel.

So the next question becomes, how much are local calls and is there a daily maximum on calls such as an hour.

Good question. I do remember reading something about a hotel surcharge on local calls. I'm thinking .50 cent range but will try to find that info in my old vacation stuff.

I called my son at IOA from RPR on his cell and it cost me about $10. I thought he was at IOA but he was in the RPR elevator on the way to the room.
