Specific Purchasing Window Question with LLMP

Hi Disfriends!

My WDW trip is quickly approaching (yay!) and I'm planning on purchasing the LLMP for me and for my kiddos. I'm trying to figure out what day I can purchase LLMP. We arrive at AS Sports on August 11 and while I have an AP, my boys have three day park hopper tickets that we will use on August 12, 13, and 14. I've looked on the WDW website and tried to surf around the Disthreads and I can't quite tell what's what. Is my purchase window August 4, because we check in to AS Sports seven day later? Or is my purchase window August 5 because we'll go into the parks seven days later on August 12?

Any info about when my purchase window opens would be great. Thank you!

It should be august 4th. Think of it like T-7, where T is your check in date. That is when your booking window opens. However you will have to have valid tivket media for the date you are trying to book. If their tickets are DATED for the 12, 13, 14 then those are the days you can book (plus a window of time I think). But you should be able to book those days starting at 7am August 4th.

@Figment1990 thank you for that info! I *think* my boys' tickets are dated for August 12, 13, & 14. But, how can I confirm this? Can I look in MDE and somehow see that the tickets are dated?

Did you buy them direct from Disney or through a 3rd party? My tickets from undercover tourist tell me the dates mine are valid in my confirmation email. If you bought from Disney you should be able to see the valid dates by tapping into My Tickets and Passes tile on the app (from the hamburger icon) and if their tickets are linked in your accountit should say the valid dates there

Also regarding the timing of when you can purchase,you can go through th process now up through selecting your party and your boys should be listed and as long as their tickets are linked it will say when you can start to make lightning lanes for them.

@Figment1990 I bought them direct through WDW, and I was just able to go in to the app and look. My boys' tickets are dated August 12-14. Thank you for that tip. Now, I'm trying to figure things out on the app. Am I understanding you correctly that I can at least start the LLMP process now, before my 7 am window opens tomorrow?

Also, I'm playing around with the app, and I'm trying to figure things out before things get real at 7 am tomorrow. How do I select a future date. For example, Tom Bricker suggests booking LLMPs for the end of your trip first and then working backwards from there. I can't figure out how to select a future date? Will selecting a future date become available when my booking window opens tomorrow? Is this why I can't select it now?

Let's take it from the "Start" screen. Select the "House" Icon on the bottom of any screen in MDE. Next "Click" on the Purchase button for Lightning Lane Multi Pass / Single Pass (It should always be the top section of the screen).

From the Purchase Screen you will start with a monthly calendar where you can pick the day you want to get the process started on. Right under the LL Banner there is the Day of the month, You just select the Day, for example today's is Aug 3. It will return you to the monthly view.

You can try these steps now to practice.

@Dave006 thank you so much! I've tried this, and I can't get to the purchase button for lightning lane multi pass/single pass. I'm assuming this is because my purchase window doesn't open til 7 am tomorrow?

Right now, the app says "purchase of lightning lane multiples is no longer offered".

Are you trying this from the Home Screen that says Hello "Your name..." at the top?

If you don't see the new Lightning Lane Section right under the Banner with a "Purchase" button then you may need to update your MDE app. Do you have an iPhone or Android Smartphone?

I have an iPhone. And yes, I am starting from the home window that says "Hello, my name...". There is no option to purchase LLMP there. The first thing that is there is "Upcoming Plans". I'll double check to make sure I have the most up to date version. But, there is no LL purchase button, as of now.
