Being still new to the boards I would like to thank all the veterans for their patience and knowledge with newbies like me. I have learned so much from reading the DIS boards.

I am booked on the 4 day Wonder 20 July. I am still unsure if we will stop at Freeport or have a day at sea.

I have been reading the Pro’s and Con’s of getting off the ship anywhere except Castaway Cay. However, I still want to do the Dolphin Swim and Stingray City in Nassau’s Blue Lagoon.

My research shows that the Dolphin Swim price includes the cost of the boat trip to Blue Lagoon. It also appears that Stingray City is just across the island (within walking distance).

My 1st question to anyone who might know; can I take the boat over to an early Dolphin Swim, then stay on the island, walk to Stingray City, snorkel with the rays and then catch a Dolphin Swim boat back to the ship in the afternoon?

After that I promise I won’t leave the ship again until Castaway Cay! If we stop in Freeport, I will stay onboard. If we have the day at sea, I will stay onboard. :D LOL

2nd question, are reservations required for Stingray City, or can I just show up? I have seen different prices for Stingray City and am unsure what I get or have to do.

Anyhelp? Anyone?

At this point, Disney's contract only runs through the end of May, so all 4-day cruises beyond then have the day at sea. It's possible they will renew the contract with Freeport. If they do, July 20 will probably still be the itinerary with the day at sea.

Thanks Dave.

I was wondering why the Disney Cruise web site only had the Freeport dates through May. But there was no explaination that I could find. Thanks, now I am sure we will be at sea. I still don't know about the excurision though.
