I got my husband one for Fathers day. It's easy. You need to book it exactly 90 days before you plan to do it to the date. They will not let you book it early at all. ANd wherever you live... you have to call disneyworld their time when they open to reserve. So they open at 7:00a.m. we live in California so i woke up at 3:50a.m. and started calling until i got thru, about 2 minutes after 4:00am my time, 7:02 am florida time. I called Disney dining and then they transfered me to somewhere, I think it was Disney Recreation to book it. There is a wishes cruise which is what I booked, as well as a illuminations cruise. They said there was only like 5 boats for illuminations and 5 for wishes. Each boat seats up to 12 people on it. We reserved it only for me my DH, and DS7. That's it. There are 2 types of cruises a regular fireworks cruise where they take you out to view the show, or the premium cruise, which is what i paid for. The premium include snacks, drinks, and the music is wired thru the boat so you can hear everything as well. It was $250.00. You can do lot's of unique things on your cruise when it comes to adding things on. It does cost extra. But if you call private dining thru the grand floridian they can arrange for a romantic candelit dinner during the cruise and they can fax you the menu to chose from many entree's drinks and desserts. We added this as well. ANd you can add other gift basket things to be on the boat waiting for your party as a speial surprise thru Disney Florists they do custom orders, we did one for my son to have it waiting at the table on the boat also.
