Specialty Cruise for Wishes?

Can anyone tell me how to book this? I'm interested in the specialty cruise for Wishes in July. When I call the number at 6:55 (LOL), do I ask for the wishes cruise or a specialty cruise. Do I follow the same guidelines as I would for an Illuminations Cruise? Also, are these as hard to get as the Illuminations cruises? Sorry about all the ques.

Are you talking about the cruise on one of the pontoon boats or the Grand One yacht?

WDWTripNut - just call 407-wdw-play and ask for the Wishes cruise. I called trying to get the illuminations cruise for June and they were all booked up. CM told me about the Wishes cruise and I took it! We saw Wishes last fall and it was wonderful!!!

BTW, the Illuminations cruises usually are booked within the first few minutes after 7 am eastern. I called at 658 and by the time I got through the voice menu, I was on hold for 6 minutes and they were all booked (I called right at the 90 day window).

The wishes cruises are easier to get. They only have 4 boats for the Illuninations cruises.

Thanks everyone! I'm going to call and try to get the 'Wishes Cruise'. Just curious-Why do most people seem to want the Illuminations Cruise? Is is better? Personally, I like Wishes much better. Am I missing something?

I called this morning to try to get an Illuminatons cruise. Since they were booked at 7:04 I got a Wishes cruise instead. I was wondering if someone that has been on both can tell me about it, or even just more info on the Wishes cruise. We have done the Illuminations previously, but I'm looking forward to this new experience. I also like the Magic Kingdom fireworks better so maybe this is a good thing. Thanks!

When are you going in June?? We have one of each of the cruises booked but we are not going til June either. I booked a Wishes cruise when I couldnt get an Illuminations cruise but then the Poly concierge was able to get one for us.
Our days and resorts are:
May 29 Pop Century
May 30-June 4 BWV
June 4-June 7 Royal Pacific Resort
June 7-June 12 Poly
Our Wishes cruise is June 9 and Illuminations cruise is June 10.

We're headed to the BWV on June 13 -21. Our cruise is scheduled for June 17th. You were so lucky to get one of each! If you haven't done either, I'd have to do both just to see which is better! My kids (ds 13, 10, 8 and dd 4) LOVE the Illuminations cruise. I hope they like Wishes as much! Have fun!
