Specialty Anniversary Cake for Hubby!

I read on some of the threads that I can get a specialty cake while at WDW. We are going during our anniversary and my husband is a low key kind of guy. He would be absolutely mortified if I requested something special at a restaurant - like when all the waiters sing you happy birthday - so I am reluctant to do this at our ADR's but I was thinking of getting a cake for our room - We are going on the free dining plan so I can afford a few extra perks/specialty items to plan just for our anniversary Does anyone have a picture of the cakes they do for these events and does anyone know if I can get one at the value resorts? We are staying at All Star Sports if that helps. Also how far out do I need to "reserve" this. We are arriving on Oct 3rd - could I order it through the front desk or would I have to arrange it before hand. (I did find out online here cost is around $30-$50) Thanks to all for the help....ssshhhh don't tell him though

I dont know if you can get them delivered to the All Stars but you can pick them up at the Boardwalk Bakery. I did this just last Friday, only with the Main Mouse (white chocolate Mickey with 4 tuxedo strawberries). I called a few weeks in advance to order it and picked it up Friday afternoon. I probably didnt need to give that much notice, but I wasnt sure if I would be able to do it. When picking it up the girl thought I was talking about a cake so I assume you can do it with a cake too. They also had some very cute Mickey cakes in the display case there.

I dont have a picture of the cakes, but heres what we got.

BTW, DH loved the surprise. It was so nice sitting out on our balcony eating the chocolate covered strawberries. Mickey made it home with us but it's been so hot here, he melted in our kitchen. Hes now a bit slumped over and in the fridge, LOL!

For our anniversary we ordered the "mini wedding cake" from the Grand Flordian Bakery and 2 "chocolate covered" strawberries. One strawberry was "wearing" a tudedo and the other looked like the top of a wedding gown complete with pearls. My DH LOVED it!
