Disney's Salute to Central Florida Hurricane Heroes
From October 14 through December 20, 2004, the Walt Disney World® Resort is reaching out to the many men and women who helped bring relief and aid to Central Florida residents and tourists impacted by three major hurricanes hitting the region this season.
Details of "Disneys Salute to Central Florida Hurricane Heroes program are outlined below:
This program is available to power company and emergency relief workers who, as employees or contractors of eligible agencies and companies, directly contributed to relief or restoration efforts in Central Florida in the aftermath of Hurricanes Charley, Frances and Jeanne (see "Eligible Power Company and Emergency Relief Workers" below). To be eligible to participate in this program, the power company and emergency relief workers must also have received a Disney's Salute to Central Florida Hurricane Heroes Exchange Certificate from an eligible agency or company (see "Eligible Agencies and Companies" below for a current list of eligible agencies and companies).
Power company and emergency relief workers for eligible agencies and companies should contact those agencies and companies to see if they are eligible to participate in this program.
Disney's Salute to Central Florida Hurricane Heroes Offer Details:
Complimentary Disney's Salute to Central Florida Hurricane Heroes 5-Day Park Hopper® Plus Ticket:
Each eligible power company or emergency relief worker may obtain one complimentary Disney's Salute to Central Florida Hurricane Heroes 5-Day Park Hopper® Plus Ticket during the offer period: Oct 14, 2004 to December 20, 2004. (See "Eligible Power Company and Emergency Relief Workers" below for information as to who is eligible to participate in this offer.)
This complimentary specially created 5-Day Park Hopper® Plus Ticket will entitle the eligible power company or emergency relief worker to the following:
Five days of admission to the Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, Disney-MGM Studios and Disneys Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, with the freedom to visit multiple theme parks on the same day (some activities\events may be separately priced). Each day this ticket is used at any theme park will constitute one full day of use.
PLUS, a choice of TWO of the following: One admission to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park; One admission to Disney'sTyphoon Lagoon Water Park; One admission to Downtown Disney Pleasure Island; and/or One admission to Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex (valid only on event days; some events require an additional admission charge).
This complimentary ticket will expire 14 days from the original date of issuance.
To obtain this complimentary ticket, the eligible power company or emergency relief worker must have received a Disneys Salute to Central Florida Hurricane Heroes Exchange Certificate from an eligible company or agency. Exchange Certificates may be obtained only from eligible companies and agencies. (See "Eligible Agencies and Companies" below.)
The eligible power company or emergency relief worker may exchange his or her Exchange Certificate for this complimentary ticket ONLY at a Walt Disney World® Theme Park Ticket Window. Photo identification and satisfactory evidence of company or agency affiliation must be presented with the Exchange Certificate to obtain this complimentary ticket.
Exchange Certificates must be exchanged on or before December 20, 2004 and will not be valid after this date.
Each Exchange Certificate and 5-Day Park Hopper® Plus Ticket is non-transferable and may be used only by the eligible power company or emergency relief worker to whom it is originally issued.
No more than one Disney's Salute to Central Florida Hurricane Heroes 5-Day Park Hopper® Plus Ticket will be issued to any person.
Eligible agencies and companies are being asked to notify Walt Disney Parks and Resorts (WDPR) of the names and agency or company affiliation of the individuals who have received Exchange Certificates from those agencies or companies. WDPR reserves the right not to honor any Exchange Certificate held by any person if it has not received notification from an eligible agency or company that such person has been furnished with that Exchange Certificate, or if WDPR suspects fraud or abuse.
Special Offer Tickets at a 50% Discount Off the Regular Disney Retail Price
At the time the eligible power company or emergency relief worker exchanges his or her Exchange Certificate for the specially created 5-Day Park Hopper® Plus Ticket, he or she may also purchase various Special Offer Tickets at a 50% discount for up to five family members and friends (up to a total of five Special Offer Tickets). This offer is valid most nights from October 31, 2004 to December 20, 2004, but not valid at all from November 10, 2004 to November 13, 2004 and November 23, 2004 to November 27, 2004.
The number of rooms available at this rate is limited.
Other rates may be available through October 30, 2004 .
Additional per adult charges apply if there are more than two adults (18 or older) per room.

Advance reservations are required.
Only one reservation may be booked by each eligible power company or emergency relief worker.

Following this determination, WDPR and the company or agency will decide on the number of Disney's Salute to Central Florida Hurricane Heroes Exchange Certificates required by the company or agency for its eligible power company or emergency relief workers. The eligible company or agency will then be provided with that number of Exchange Certificates. Because this is a special offer of limited duration, WDPR does not plan to issue additional Exchange Certificates after their initial distribution to the company or agency.
For the purposes of this offer, Central Florida means the following counties within the State of Florida : Brevard, Lake , Indian River , Orange , Osceola, Polk, Seminole and Volusia counties.
