I live not far from Atlantic City International Airport and have used it numerous times. I was checking the website for updated info on how much they're currently charging for parking, and I came across something I'm not sure I understand.
In their parking system, you take a ticket when you enter the lot. To exit the lot at the end of your trip, I know that you can pay inside, near baggage claim, using one of the machines (been there, done that). But it also said you can just drive directly to the exit and then press the purple EZ Pass button.
Is it really that simple? You just ignore your ticket until you leave, drive up to the exit, insert the ticket, push the purple button, and the machine picks up your EZ Pass signal and you get charged that way??? I mean, I know that SJTA runs the local EZ Pass system AND runs the airport, but this just seems too easy.
I guess my other question is that I have a "recharge" amount of $55 but my parking charge will be higher than that ... any idea if my EZ Pass will get rejected because there's not enough in my EZ Pass account at that moment?
